Individualism and relativism. Individualism because every body seems to praised for going their own way and for doing something that in some way unique even if it´s the biggest trash.
Relativism because true and good is what ever feels right and good to you and if that means that you identify as a dog that´s so.

Hate to say it, I think it's economic success. And funny thing is when I asked ChatGPT to rank it, it also put economic success as number one on the list. It really is sad because economic success is not a method to judge someone's character. Society is so backwards in what we value.

@Kelly6 It's been advice I have been given through the years by women that have had extremely happy and successful marriages. Including my mother and a very close friend. I'm not saying my husband shouldn't realize he's gonna have to make sacrifices and realize my (our) lives are gonna change but he also needs to know he's also my priority. Even more so than our childrens, at times.

Do you realize how many marriages end because the husband is suddenly no longer a priority in his wife's life? It's no different than women who feel shut out because the husband prioritizes work over her.
