If Biden wasn't pressured to pick a black woman for VP in 2020, who would be the Democrats 2024 candidate now?

Politics can lead to interesting things. For the 2020 election, Joe Biden was pressured to pick a woman, and preferably a black woman, as his VP running mate. This followed the #MeToo movement, George Floyd incident and the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

Now that Biden has dropped out of the 2024 election, his VP (Kamala Harris) becomes the Democrat's de facto candidate.

But what if Biden hadn't been pressured to pick a black VP in 2020? Who do you think the Democrat's 2024 Presidential candidate would be?

I would pick the government that won’t cause inflation. I hate how politicians pretend that inflation doesn’t exist, and makes horrible hurtful jokes about inflation. Joe Biden is horrible for making inflation jokes, I heard about news reporters being pissed about Biden’s elitist behavior. The politicians just laugh about high cost of restaurant food they ordered, and making insensitive jokes about it. Please don’t pick these politicians, at least pick libertarians, or conservatives. These people don’t care about high cost of living, like houses for example. Gen Z and Millennials can’t afford a house, and ended up homeless.

A better question, would be, if the DNC hadn't rigged the the Primary in 2020, who would be the Democrats 2024 candidate now. And that answer would most likely be Bernie Sanders, even tho he's a year older then Biden, he doesn't suffer from the cognitive impairment Biden does.

@Amy10223 What laugh? There's nothing funny about the DNC cheating Sanders out of the Democratic nomination. In fact Sanders was cheated twice, in 2016 and 2020. Weather you choose to believe it or not, the evidence is out there. One great example of blatant election rigging against Sanders was 2016 in Chicago, where election officials were caught by witnesses, during audits of voting machines, erasing Sander's votes and adding Hillary votes so the hand counted audit would match the results of the machine.

He wasn't “pressured”. It’s just apart of the Dems agenda to maintain the black vote. It may keep the majority of black people, but the dems don’t do it for this black person (me). It’s just like Trumps little speech about immigrants taking “black jobs” and that something should be done about it. Both just want to sway the black vote to their side. And people are falling for it. I’ll stick to a third party that actually represents my beliefs/views

The people wanted a black woman to be VP.
Granted not all of the people wanted that, but that's what they were screaming and carrying on that that's what they wanted.

I am not so sure he was “pressured to pick a black woman”. His VP just happens to be a black woman. And she is a seriously qualified candidate, who will no doubt pick a great candidate to run with her. Where did you see that he had to pick a black woman? I see that no where.
My personal pick for her running mate would be Jack Smith. But that’s wishful thinking.

Biden’s original pick was Klobuchar I think. It’d likely be her then. The money was locked up for the Biden-VP ticket which is why they chose Kamala.
