International community (UN, the EU, ASEN, etc.)

Public-private partnership. (government and business)

Where does it say “individuals”, voters, or representation of the people? Do these stakeholders care about what people want and need?

The fact is, they see the Chinese CCP model as the optimum form of governance.

Indoctrinate the younger generation to believe that minority groups across race, sexuality and gender are oppressed by out capitalist system. Every government from the USA to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed.

Well that's the problem. Salaries are so inflated by the tech sector that it seems like we're becoming a lot more tiered society. If you don't have a solid director level position in a well run,, well capitalized company. I live in SF, CA and shit isa so expensive out here that I can't really afford it anymore. It's completely tiered out here in Silicon Valley. If you work for a tech company, even one that is years away from making money. They can do this, in fact, need to do this in order to attract employees, have first class food. Coffee that's better than most Starbucks out there. All kinds of games like Foosball, ping pong, incredible arrays of cold beveraages. These are either free or a token amount. The salaries atre not as much as tech companies that are publicly traded like HP, Autodesk, Oracle etc, these are start ups running on early investor "angel" money but it's still starts at around $150/hour and goes way beyond that but the really big money os in the stock grants and stock options. These are often given to employee's along with amazing 401k type benefits all of which is usually matched by the company. May corporate level VPs will get 500,000 shares, of xyz. The stock may have been just listed on Wall St and there is always the risk of the business failing before all of this comes true. If you're in that industry a risk of the company going under before it eans a dime. Many great companies some like Netscape, Webvan et all seemed destined to go the distance but Bill Gates salary and benefits package comes to well more than $1,000,000 a year. At the samde time the people who clean these offices, cook the food all of the companies that service tjhem are still getting paid $12/hour, An average house costs a million, rent for a 2 BR apartment is more than $3500. I don't think anyone but the beneficiaries' of these companies realized at the time that the massive tax cut to business didn't create any jobs, didn't make companies Research and development better. It went righjt back into the stock market. All of the largest stockholders , corporate VPs, Executive Suite people are the largest investors in most companies. Perhaps some programmers, code writers had great years and many made well over a million dollars. Stock grants anmd options are a good thing. They allow well run companies a way tp compensate employees but no other industry or, at least, very few, can match the power of the stock market in $- at no cost to the company. When GM got a big check from Mr. Trump, nobody even mention ed hiring more workers or giving existing workers a better wage/benefit package. It went to buying back shares on the open market. It was used to buy the shares of the stock already traded on the daily markets. This- as any econ. major would tell you, will raise the price of a share of stock. Soo for the VP of non-existent customer support has the shares in hos brokerage account go higher by a dollar, than another and over until the price is up at least 25%. So the shares he keeps in his brokerage account are worth $10 now when they were $8 two weeks ago. The company didn't incur a cent, they don't need to publish the information on their investment brochures. He had about 500,000 shares that were worth $40,000,000 is now worth $50,000,000. Not bad. For absolutely noi cost to the company one of the BPs gave themselves a raise of $10,000,000. Not bad, when was the last time you received a 10 million dollar raise. Of course, the $ that used to pay taxes to keep the infrastructure safe doesn't get accomplished 5 years from now when the bridge thst had the $10,000,000 earmarked to fix the 90 year old bridge is no longer there because it was given to the sector of the economy that least needs it

Gotta be honest Lliam, this stuff is WAAAAY over my head! I will say that I read @Makeushiver ’s answer, and I agree that many cities are simply unaffordable to minimum wager’s or anyone making even close to minimum wage, and that people living in different socioeconomic strata will life vastly different lives, depending upon whether they're at the top, middle, or the bottom stratum.

I’ve heard of the phrase “the great reset”, but I have no idea what it is. I do know that giving a lot of money to the people at the bottom strata of the socioeconomic system will not help them at all, and it will simply result in massive hyper-inflation. (Meaning the idea that if you give everyone a million dollars, everyone will be rich, is offset by the fact that a hamburger will likely cost tens, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars within a few weeks!

There has not always been a “middle class”. In fact for the vast majority of mankind’s existence, there were only the “have's” and the “have not's”. Until the industrial revolution, this seems to have been the model globally for the entirety of human civilization. A few ultra-wealthy people at the top, their staff (who owned nothing but lived in vicarious luxury, due to their proximity to the king, lord, czar, emperor, etc), then at the bottom were the 99%, the surfs who owned nothing and both lived and worked extremely difficult and dangerous manual labor jobs, in the squalor of abject poverty.

I often hear "but the rich just keep getting richer because of intergenerational wealth!” The myth of “intergenerational wealth” is belied by the fact that most ultra-wealthy families, who leave their wealth to their heirs, we tend to see that their entire wealth is gone in three generations, sometimes two!

With our current system, people work their way up into the middle class, by either getting an education in a trade or college, and they are rewarded for their unique skills by earning enough to enter the middle class. Other’s however, squander their wealth, and find themselves falling into the middle class. Class mobility is completely fluid in the capitalistic system of economics. In fact, capitalism has lifted more people out of poverty than any other economic system in the history of mankind, while communism has not only failed, but resulted in the deaths of (conservatively) 30-40 million people, with most historians and scholars suggesting the total death toll could be as high as 85-100 million people when considering all countries and events where communism was implemented.

Sorry I was not much help on this question, but this “great reset” or "stakeholder capitalism” just sounds like communism rebranded. I mean how is “stakeholder capitalism” that much different from “owning the means of production”?

Anyway, systems of economics are not exactly in my wheelhouse. Sorry I could not be of more help ¯\_(ッ)_/¯

You're right, Laura, the "Great Reset" or "Stakeholder Capitalism” (terms coined by Klaus Schwab, who also started the WEF - World Economic Forum) is communism rebranded. He believes that the Chinese Communist model in which the state, but in this case, unelected global elites, own the means of production and have absolute control over the lives of everyone on Earth.

Oh, okay! Yeah that’s what I figured. To be honest, I’m really not that into politics, so I’m just not up on the latest geo-political stuff. I suppose I could look into it, but I honestly don’t have that much interest in it. I know what I know from way back in my AP Government and Civics in high school, and while I understand that to some people, the constant viewing of political news makes it feel almost like it’s an existential threat, but to me it’s just not a priority right now. I’m only 21, maybe when I’m in my 30’s I’ll have the time, and emotional energy to worry about politics, but for now I honestly have neither the time nor the emotional energy to focus on geo-politics. TBH, I’m literally just trying to graduate so I can begin to help the tween, and teenage survivors of sexual abuse and rape. But I do thank you for letting me know what it was, and that I was right in assuming that it was just communism rebranded. It didn't work in the 20th century, it is not working now, and it won’t work in the future. I thought the world had pretty much proved that communism was a failed system, because it’s based to a governments ability to change human nature to not want to better themselves and feed themselves first… BEFORE they work for the “community”. Communism doesn't work, it’s never worked, and it won’t work in the future, just because you “re-name” it!

I prefer democratic socialism , but would be fine with the sort of " Stakeholder Capitalism'' mentioned above. ( Guess we minorities, Indigenous folk and women have imagined the past four centuries of slavery, oppression, dispossession, misogyny and often-murderous hate.)
