The Labor Department released payroll data that provided a look at job creation in the year through March, which is much weaker than previously believed.

U. S. job growth during much of the past year was significantly weaker than previously reported, according to new data published Wednesday.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics revised down its total tally of jobs created in the year through March by 818,000 as part of its preliminary annual benchmark review of payroll data. That suggests the economy added an average of 174,000 jobs per month during that time period — below the previous 242,000 estimate. On a monthly basis, that amounts to about 68,000 fewer jobs.

"The labor market appears weaker than originally reported," said Jeffrey Roach, chief economist at LPL Financial. "A deteriorating labor market will allow the Fed to highlight both sides of the dual mandate and investors should expect the Fed to prepare markets for a cut at the September meeting."

Biden had been boasting about the jobs he created the whole time. If you drilled down and looked at those jobs it would show that almost half of them were jobs with the federal government which are mostly bad for the economy. A lot of these jobs were part time with no benefits. Many of these jobs Biden ":created" were the jobs that disappeared because President Trump had to shut down the economy because of the COVID pandemic. .

Correct. And a majority of the jobs were filled by foreign non-us citizens and people who had to take on a second or third part time job to pay for the Harris/Biden inflation tax. Those are counted as new jobs. As a matter of fact the number of full time jobs filled by Americans FELL under Harris/Biden.

The "unemployment" numbers are a scam. People who gave up looking for jobs are NOT counted as unemployed. That means if 100% of working age people decided they don't want to look for a job, whether its because they are receiving welfare, or are lazy or whatever reason the unemployment rate would be ZERO. So those figures are a fraud.

The REAL measure of how well employment is doing is the Civilian Labor Force Participation Rate. And it NEVER recovered to 63.3 level it was at under Trump when Covid hit even after 4 years of Harris/Biden. It now stands at 62.7 and is going nowhere.

The Harris/Biden employment record is ABYSMAL.

They're not even talking about it in the news but a report just came out showing that Biden has been taking money from foreign adversaries like China to influence policy just has Trump and the Republicans have been charging. Everyone is the hero of their own Story, Althou Biden's story is unfortunately increasingly out of his control. When it was he seemed quite focused on the enrichment of his family.

Harris doesn't have as much of a history beyond being a San Fransisco area liberal who helped run her state into the ground.
