I'm ready to get rid of all the political hyperbole. It doesn't matter if you like Harris or Trump, the USA is not going to become a "third world country" in the next four years. It hasn't become one under Biden, and it didn't become one under Trump. Nothing either one of them does will cause such a disruption in the economy. People who have never been to the third world don't realize how poor people are there. The average US citizen living under the poverty line would be considered middle class in nations like Laos or Haiti.

We certainly will if Trump is elected. Trump and the Christo-fascists will do all they can to turn the US into a Christian theocracy, destroying the economy in the process and starting a brain drain from the US to Europe and Canada. We would fall into poverty and misery just like the other economies that fell under the control of authoritarians -- Venezuela, Turkey, Iran, and Russia are good examples.
