Off the cuff. Whats it mean?

Off the cuff. Whats it mean?

I'm not exposed to that concept here, but it looks like a good idea with terrible implementation ?
let's go the optimistic route then lol
Don, Eric, Ivanka
it's really sad that you believe that
i didn't. i just didn't want you giving them brilliant ideas
it comes down to two options. do you want to be owned by israel or russia? israel isn't a threat and we can have peace with russia
what do you think?
i don't think head trauma will keep them from voting.
@Sevenpointfive no that’s how Trump got elected the first time round.
nice! so there will be a second.
A phrase used as an insult by people who don't know how DEI works.
@Juxtapose yes. Good thing that's not what dei is.
@Juxtapose it literally is not. You can look it up to find out what it actually is, if you're curious.
Okay then I will prove you wrong right now.
Under DEI, if all the most qualified candidates are white males, are they all going to be hired in different companies that operate under DEI or are they going to be turned over for a minority? Let's say the white males are vastly more qualified to the point where it's not even close.
@Juxtapose yes. Under DEI the most qualified candidates would be chosen, "even if" those were all white males.
@Juxtapose as I said, you are free to look up what DEI is and how it works, if you are genuinely curious.
@Juxtapose you could, but it wouldn't make much sense bc I have already looked it up.

See? It's an obsession with skin tone. They don't care about merit, it's about having a certain percentage of their staff or whatever being people that LOOK a certain way.
@Juxtapose that's the goals of DEI, that's not what DEI programs are tho. I understand it can be confusing if you only know what something tries to do so u assume HOW it tries to do it. I suggest looking up specific DEI programs & initiatives to see how they actually work towards the goals explained in this video.
@Juxtapose so you are not interested in learning how it works even though it is also meritocracy-based. Okay. Then don't look it up, and also don't pretend like you know how it works.
Means getting a job over a better qualified straight white man.

A DEI hire is someone that is hired specifically for their color, national origin, sex, religion, or age at the expense of technical expertise and experience. A perfect example would be Yvonne Gray who was put in charge of HMNZS Manawanui in New Zealand because she was a woman. As a result the ship ran aground and now a $100 million vessel needs to be salvaged. Yvonne Gray was no qualified to take command of the vessel, but because she was a woman she was promoted to a position she could not perform. At it's heart it is communism cronyism.

Someone who met the minimum qualifications, but was not the best candidate based on resume and interviews, but was hired anyway because they were a demographic category that the company wanted to build the numbers of. I've been a hiring manager at three different companies and two of them forced this on me. Super unethical in my opinion. One company even offered double referral bonuses for certain demographics getting hired and passing probation.
Someone hired based on race and not qualifications, which is racist because your basically saying a person of color isn't intelligent enough to get the job based on merits, so you have to give it to them based on skin color. I have no problem with a person of color being hired if they are best qualified for the job. Choosing a person of color can sometimes be dangerous.
Any Trump kid...

DEI!
When certain groups are given preference when hiring or getting government benefits. The very definition of racism.
An incompetent person who secured their job on the basis of being a member of a protected class.

That's DEI.
Someone hired for politically expedient reasons rather than someone who would be the best talent available for the position.
Hiring someone who isn't qualified because of their race.
Discrimination, Exclusion and Idiocracy?
@normalice i would say yes, but unfortunately, i experience it
