This question is mostly for the loyal Democrat voters. Can any of you name me one single good accomplishment from Kamala Harris AKA Miss cackling fake accent word salad?

She was tasked with securing the border or at least finding the root cause of the illegal migrant surge that started in 2021, and what a surprised she failed miserably. The Democrats only wanted to tackle the issue early this year, but the problem is that it was 3 years too late. They should have tackled the issue in 2021, but nope. They first had to let in 13 million illegal immigrants because that is their woke agenda. Grocery, gas, and housing prices are up the roof, millions of illegal immigrants came in to the US, many with now having better lives than most Democrat voters.

Also, got to love her lies about not being far left, when she was indeed far left when she was running for president in 2019. So again, why would anyone outside the people who have Trump Derangement Syndrome because the leftist fake news media propaganda said "orange man bad" would vote for Miss cackling word salad with her fake accent?

Harris said in 2019 when she ran for president that she is in favor of banning fracking, she wanted to defund the police, she wanted gun restrictions, and she wanted to eliminate private insurance. She said that she is against these things on the debate. There is video evidence proving she said all these things back in 2019. I have to say, those were some of the most biased, leading debate questions I've ever seen. And, they were weighted heavily in Harris' favor. I wish I had a simple answer to your simple question, haha. But I kind of have to argue with the premise of it, in that I’ve never felt my life was drastically impacted by the presence or departure of any President in my lifetime. I’ve always been fine, no matter who, no matter what. Not saying the President is unimportant, but they get way too much credit/blame for social, economic, and foreign policy issues. I don’t usually expect any drastic changes to come with a presidency. There’s always a lot of talk of change, but it’s usually the “same old, same old”, at the end, when you look back on it.

I also think we misuse democracy if we just vote for our own interests, because then it just becomes about a majority rule of some kind, and some party will identify some majority demographic of a common identity or ideology and tailor their message to that group, and gain and keep power, and everyone else is just shit out of luck. I vote for what I think the people — ALL THE PEOPLE — need, not just myself and the people I directly care about. I’m a straight, white, educated, financially comfortable man in America…. I have PLENTY, I don’t need the help or to be specially looked out for, others do. My vote is much more for their interests than mine.

Trump is actually the first one to negatively impact me in SOME way, though, to attempt to answer under your terms. It’s pretty minor, but due to the elimination of an important tax deduction, his new tax plan that was supposed to benefit the working people cost me $4,000 per year in tax returns. I hope it helped others more, but it didn’t help me.

He’s also just the first President of my lifetime that changed the culture of the citizens, negatively. I’ve never been more ashamed to be an American since he first began campaigning. The attitudes of some of his supporters hold about various different groups of fellow human beings are just the absolute height of indecency to me. And again, the unfortunate standard in 2024 is that the matchup is Trump vs holy-fuck-please-tell-me-there’s-nobody-even-worse-than-Trump-as-the-alternative-oh-thank-god-it’s-just-relatively-harmless-Kamala-Harris, so because Trump is SO bad, even someone KINDA bad is a better option. And I think she’s better than “kinda bad.” I don’t think she’s any superhero or anything, but she’s adequate, and adequate is just fine with me given the circumstances.

We ARE NOT overrun with migrants. There are some, even millions here, that’s true. But they mostly are not doing any of the bad things Republicans say they are. Most of this is based around the people in question being brown, speaking Spanish, and observing a Latin American culture of some sort…. and absolutely none of those things are bad or threatening.

Like any group, there are bad apples. But they’re choosing to greatly amplify crime from this group, and are dishonest about how there’s WILDLY less of it coming from immigrants, legal or illegal, compared to homegrown Americans. So it’s EXTREMELY fucked up on a human soul level to demonize these people publicly on their right wing news networks. My life has been absolutely fine and totally the same, before, during, and after. I’m not suffering in any measurable way whatsoever.

I’m not going around checking papers, but not for nothing, if there are migrants here, I sure don’t see them around, or they aren’t anymore obvious than Americans of Latino descent. The right wing news does a phenomenal job of convincing us of the opposite. First, let's address what Harris' actual assignment was: Biden asked Harris to lead diplomatic efforts to reduce poverty, violence and corruption in Central America's Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, as well as engage with Mexico on the issue. Causes for illegal immigration from Latin America are rooted in the immigrants country of origin and can't be solved simply by negotiating with Mexico.

Secondly, these problems have existed for decades and both Democratic and Republican presidencies have "failed" to resolve the issues causing the migration. So why would anyone expect that any VP could single handedly resolve it all in 3 1/2 years? That defies all logic.

Thirdly, Harris was never tasked with "securing the border". That responsibility belongs to raw U. S. Customs and Border Protection within the Department of Homeland Security. Part of what happened was an unexpected and rapid shift in WHERE the majority of illegal immigrants were coming from, further complicating any effort to solve the problem, as the assignment she was given did not include diplomacy with any of these new sources of immigrants arriving at our borders.

She's secured about $5 billion in funding and around 50 or so companies into the the Central America Forward (CAF) initiative. These companies employ and assist to help lower immigration into the USA due to poverty.
