My three kids each have their own political beliefs. Between them and me, we have four different political beliefs, and we're all on different parts of the political spectrum. Yet, we all get along just fine. Though we may not agree, we accept each other's opinions and beliefs.

Their mother and I, as parents, taught our kids to think on their own, do the research, and draw their own conclusions. We're both very proud that they do that.

I'd like to think they would be on the side of being caring towards everyone and not just their own party. I'm a centrist myself so there really isn't an opposite to me that I can imagine, but I'd hope they would think like I do (and they currently do).

If they pick a side I'd still love them and have a conversation with them as to why they believe what they would believe in.
