Do you like your bank or banks and why or why not?

They’re fine. They kinda dicked me once like 15-20 years ago, but other than that it’s good enough. Good fraud protection. My debit card number got ganked and they shut it down and alerted me to the suspect purchases quickly, it was easy to make the claims, and they sent me a new card right away. My money isn’t really tight so I don’t monitor my transactions much, so I appreciate that someone else is catching these things or I would’ve paid for someone else’s pizza party and Groupon purchases and never been any the wiser, lmao.

Not really, only because of their online banking app. It’s glitchy as hell. Some days it freezes up and doesn’t respond, other days the date glitches and says 1st of January 2001, and every day it gives the wrong date for when transactions were made. I’ll go to the shop 4 days ago to buy something and when I look at my purchase history, it’ll say that the transaction was made today.

I love my Credit Union. They are real people, who respond to my requests quickly, help me resolve issues when they arise, don't charge fees for ATMs (reimburse me if I get charged for using one), pay me interest on my checking and savings accounts, and have an easy-to-use free app and website.

I haven't had an account at a bank in years.

and I don't like that they are investment banks. System is ripe to collapse again at some point, as it always does.

Yes, I just switched banks a year ago. This new bank has branches all over where I live and work. The staff is always really helpful and there are branches that are open on Sunday.

I like it enough to keep money in it. But NO, I don't like any bank. Even the ones I make money off of like Bank of America. I just tolerate then because they pay me.😆
