Trump has created a cabinet worth more than many countries based on personal wealth. For everyone who voted for Trump, is this what you really wanted? I'd wager most of you don't want to be controlled by the rich.
6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Can't be worse than the numbskulls, trannies, neoliberals and neocons that Biden appointed.
And look how badly they fucked Americans over the past 4 years.
I'm not a Trump fan, but we can't afford to have more Democrats ruining the country. I live in California where Newsom and Democratic mayors have been destroying the state and acting like petty dictators for years.
I'm not a delusional loyal democrat who gives Democrats a free pass while spouting hysterical predictions about Trump.
I'll see how things go with Trump. His first administration wasn't as bad as Dubya or O'Bomber, and certainly not as bad as Biden.015 Reply- 1 y
Please explain the ways they fucked up the US.
Also, these are the same billionaires who did fuck up the US by raising prices as high as possible. - 1 y
Also, Trump literally defunded the epidemic response, which fucked is up during covid. He also set a bill to raise taxes for the lower classes and lower taxes for the rich, but y'all ignoring that.
- 1 y
The covid mandates, not the manufactured covid pandemic, totally fucked people's lives and the economy. Countless businesses were forced to close. People lost their jobs. People went bankrupt and lost their homes. The economy never recovered.
And the main reason covid was a threat was due to the deadly protocols imposed on doctors so that hospitals could rake in money. - 1 y
There's literal evidence contrary to what you said, and besides. Covid happened during Trump you idiot.
- 1 y
How are you going to blame covid on the democrats when it was during the republican candidacy, even if what you said in the first place was wrong?
- 1 y
https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC7451131/
The CDC, a d every other government organization responsible for reporting on it. And this is with all these mandates that were used to slow the shit down. And even with the slow down, hospitals were still packed. It literally takes two seconds to search CDC and covid deaths, but that's too hard for you, isn't it, because then you can't complain about the left, because they did something right, even if it sucked at the time. Also thank the left for the stimulus checks, because Bernie is the one who pressured them into handing them out. - 1 y
You apparently don't have the slightest clue. Why am I even arguing about this with a political ideologue who is barely out of high school?
You no doubt willingly masked and social distanced because you were told to. Then you were traumatized into believing the scam that the WHO, CDC, Fauci, Biden, Gates, and corporate media were pulling. You had no way of knowing that the vast majority of deaths attributed to covid were not from covid.
The mask became an identity; a way to virtue signal. For you, it's about left versus right; Democrat versus Republican. But for others, it's about discovering truth, facts, and how the world was deceived by profiteers. - 1 y
No, I was late to mask, because I didn't think covid was a big deal. But the stats don't lie. Also, why are you so against masking? It stops the spread at literally zero cost. You are talking about masking being an identity, but your refusal to mask is yours. It makes no sense why you get so irrationally angry over a mask. You say I'm left vs right, while you are looking at the facts, but I'm the one posting the facts, and I'm the one arguing with republicans to show them their mistakes, because it's not left vs right for me, but that the rich have infested the right's politicians, and have used heavy propaganda against you to the point that you are angry over a fucking mask. They keep you distracted, and I'm trying to get you all to see it. Also, I'm not fresh out of high school. I joined the military and went to college using the GI Bill, and in college, I learned how to properly fact check. No one on the left cared about virtue signalling. The masks were to stop the spread of the deadliest disease we've had in almost 100 years.
- 1 y
LOL. Okay.
First you assume that I am right wing. That's funny. It is a typical tactic of modern liberals.
And you talk about fact checking. Where?
Why was the scientific method castigated. They kept saying "Follow 'the' science." But there is no such thing as "the" science. Scientists are supposed to investigate and challenge scientific claims. But in the case of covid they weren't allowed to. Any of the thousands of global experts whose conclusions conflicted with the desired narrative were blocked, censored, slandered, threatened and even fired. - 1 y
I didn't call you right wing dumbass, but you sure called me a liberal.
Maybe in the stats I posted for you that you decided to ignore.
Are you stupid? They literally recalled one of the vaccines because it was challenged and didn't stick up to testing. The Johnson and Johnson one. Also, who was fired over this? Please, I'm waiting for your sources that you say you have. - 1 y
I posted information. I asked you for information. If you have it, give it. And I called you out of fake information, and gave you proof for it. And you tried to imply I was stupid, so I just said it to you straight up, and only because what you said was probably wrong. There is no difference between what you said about me and what I said about you, except that one only sounds nicer, even though it is not.
- 1 y
You aren't going to even try to provide me with proof of your claims, because there is none.

Tht being said, Pam Bondi, Pete Hegseth, Mike Huckabee, Michael Waltz and Lee Zeldin are hardly billionaires. Also, you become a billionaire by paying your workers as little as possible. The government isn't a business, so stop treating it as such. Even in the places it overlaps, billionaires don't try to help the poor. They will make it benefit them, as they always have. Not to mention Trump has went bankrupt how many times? - 1 y
You should elect people who will benefit you, not themselves. Like, why don't you all get this?
- 1 y
Trump isn't competent. You become a billionaire by starting out rich, owning or inheriting a business, then paying your employees as little as possible, taking government handouts for "bankruptcies," and screwing over the working class when you can, while also evading taxes and not paying your fair share. There's a reason corporations pay so little now compared the the 1950s, and why we pay so much. They live in a different reality, and then people like you defend them, as if they aren't taking every penny they can from you.
- 1 y
He beat them due to corruption, and the Supreme Court with his judges declaring him immune to judicial consequences. And no one is eating out of his hands. He's literally about to bankrupt the US with all of tr tariffs he's trying to lay forth.
- 1 y
Trump is not a victim, he's been found guilty and proven to have committed numerous crimes. Also, which is it, are you all for capitalism with no restraints, or are you for adding restraints on business practices? There are no caravans, the tariffs did nothing, and he is saying something completely different than the Mexican president is. The Mexican government isn't the one sending people across the border.
- 1 y
@NimbleOcelot yes, crimes that have never been considered crimes before. As soon as Trump won Jack Smith bowed out of all his cases. Mostly because the DOJ would no longer fund them. They were only used as election interference.
- 1 y
What? These have always been crimes, tf are you talking about? Hunter Biden is the one they are attempting for crimes that are never prosecuted alone. Trump is the King of election interference.

16 Reply- 1 y
Yes, politicians are paid, by tax payer dollars. That's how that works.
Opinion Owner1 yUnfortunately they are bought by corporate donations.
- 1 y
Some of them are, sure. But most of the Republicans are, vs some of the Democrats. Not to mention the new cabinet literally are the new corporations you are complaining about buying the politicians in the first place. They just removed the middle man.
Opinion Owner1 yAll the Democrats.

Bernie Sanders, AOC, 2 of them I can name right off the back. How many republicans can you name? And also not the the same extent as what you literally see.

1 ySo you would rather broke peasants run the country? People who know nothing about managing resources and power? People whose political ideology goes as far as "everybody should be equal, I guess, I have no idea how we are going to achieve that, but that's the message". Or would you rather people who have actual power make actual changes and regulations?
014 Reply- 1 y
Are you really that brainwashed? People will vote for policies that benefit them and what they've seen. Trump will create policies that benefit the elite at the expense of the poor and middle class. Why tf would you willingly allow yourself to be placed lower than your current position. Also, how many times has Trump been bankrupt? In addition, they got rich by witholding wages from the poor and being dishonest. It's easy to become rich if you start out there. Poor people are better at managing money, because they fucking have none.
Literally go back and read what you just said and tell me you aren't brainwashed by the elite. - 1 y
I'm not brainwashed by the elite. I believe that anyone can build power and influence if they wanted to, so I don't see it as "us vs them". Literally just build clout on social media, eventually you'll get connections and influence. Before you know it, you'll be part of the "elite". Not everybody wants or cares to pursue that, so the people who do have clearer objectives on why they are doing that. It's better for people with clear objective to manage the power instead of randoms who preach sentimental values.
- 1 y
Yes, except all the roadblocks in place by the elite. Also, they have created a system where the less fortunate can't have healthcare. And have you actually tried building yourself up from the bottom without getting lucky or using the military to go to college? And even if you go to college, how far will that salary go?
The issue you are clearly missing is that they are trying to remove the ability to rise up, and they are increasinly successful. The rich get bailed out by the government all the time, while the poor are charged for having no money.
And ftr, I became an engineer using the GI Bill, but no one else in my family had that opportunity without joining the military. You shouldn't need the military just to be able to advance in the world. - 1 y
I don't think that there's a world where having a large surplus of money will not make you more relevant compared to the person who has none. Just like there's not a world where a sexually alluring person is just as relevant as someone who is not. It's just how the world works. And my perspective is that if the advantageous qualities are known, why not grow them for yourself? You don't have to burn yourself out trying to be the richest and sexiest person in the world, but go at your own pace and be aware. Things are never going to be dead equal. There's always going to be some micro advantage that someone has that ripples into a disproportionate advantage over time, especially in the era of social media.
- 1 y
The point is that they are grown at the expense of the working class. So I other words, you voted to increase someone else's paycheck who doesn't need it.
- 1 y
The problem is identifying with "the working class" and expecting handouts. Why not take the agency in your own hands and be a leader of your own life? Be the class of your own.
- 1 y
No one is expecting handouts, except for those who actually need it. Also, the rich get way more handouts than the poor. The benefits they get go to mostly old and disabled people, who can't hold a job. And even then, it's only enough to cover food.
But the issue with the rich is that they literally make the handouts required. They pay so little that many people literally can't afford to eat and pay their rent without these handouts. In other words, we are using tax dollars to pay the paychecks of the people who work for the rich. Also, then we go into rent, and it's rent, because the rich own most of the housing, and you just elected the rich who enabled that.
So then the working class, who used to be able to pay for everything and then some on one paycheck, now require two paychecks and still struggle, in the "richest country in the world."
Also, take the agency into my own hands? I already did, by joining the military (and not faking bone splints), because that was the only way I could go to college. - 1 y
Please tell me how much you make, and what state you live in, that you are doing so well, and actually benefit from Trump's policies?
- 1 y
Renting takes 17 years to break even on the cost of the property, and that's not counting repairs. Buying a bunch of properties to rent will not make you rich and will only freeze your money.
I'm not from the US. I'm just sharing my thoughts. - 1 y
Then why tf do the rich buy so much property and then get rich from it? They don't do it because they lose money. And fyi, my Uncle didn't have to work because he inherited some property that he rented out.
- 1 y
And if you aren't from the US, why are you trying to comment on the issues we are experiencing, if you don't know anything about them? And fyi, the rich bought all the property, then raised rent to the extreme, so that they are making considerable amounts from it.
- 1 y
yes, look how a group of affirmative action rejects just worked out for us.
ichef.bbci.co.uk/.../..._biden_cabinet-nc.png.webp - 1 y
I'm commenting because the issues are archetypical and not exclusive to the US. The issue of "are the rich evil and almighty, or are you focusing on the wrong things and falling into the victim mentality" is universal.
I think the most important takeaway here is that work does not correlate with money. And if you're deluding yourself into thinking that you care about work when in reality you care about the money, you're simply not on the same page with yourself.
Is there a point in higher education if you already have money? Not really.
If there a point in working if you already have money? No, unless you believe in what you're trying to contribute.
The point is that by equating work to money and demanding more money for work, you are going about your money goal in the least efficient way possible.
Money equates to demand, value, influence. The last thing money equates to is work. - 1 y
Dude, our government has literally made it difficult for any newcomers to start a business unless they get insanely lucky. We aren't talking about rich people who are contributing to society. We are talking about the rich people who have a different tier system, who actively make it harder for normal people to live. Look up the pharmacy CEO, and why so many people cheered. It isn't a victim complex. They are active threats to the common man.
4.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yes I do and yes it’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t wait for the deportations
08 Reply- 1 y
We aren't talking about that. We are talking about how fucked the economy is going to be for the regular people just so your guy can break the constitution and deport natural born citizens.
- 1 y
Trump literally filled the government up with billionaires, dude. You are so consumed with your xenophobia that you let a crook siding with the elite become president. Stop letting your hatred ignore what's in front of you.
- 1 y
Because it literally hurts you, because they keep putting policies in place to siphon funds towards the top. Also, what are these policies of Harris you hate so much? Why are you willing to hurt yourself just to harm people who don't affect you?
- 1 y
No I disagree. The democrats made my gas and food prices ridiculously high. They don’t give a fuck about anyone but their fucked up socialist agenda. I don’t see Biden and Harris paying their fair share. I also remember Trump not taking one dime of salary when president. I didn’t see Biden doing that. Plus he stops the wall but puts up security fencing around his own home in Delaware at taxpayer expense. I want Trump to hire the most qualified and I don’t care how much money they have.
- 1 y
Gas isn't controlled by the government, nor is food. Also, gas has been high for a while, and food started going up in 2020, or did you forget?
Trump took millions from his supporters, who were stupid enough to donate to him. Biden and Harris both pay taxes. Trump didn't get paid the presidential salary as a gimmick to make you think he's on your side. Meanwhile, his net worth skyrocketed during his presidency, and he literally used tax payer fund to stay at his own property.
And they are the most qualified FOR THE RICH. They don't give a fuck about you. That's the point. They will do what they can to siphon more money to the top.
Also, you don't know shit about the economy, since you believe gas is government run. Based on your age, you grew up in a time where you could pay for your family on a single salary starting out, and then could actually rise through the ranks with hard work. It's not like that now, and if you had to start over, you would fail to get even close to where you are now.

020 Reply- 1 y
Is that a serious question? Are you a billionaire? Do you want the billionaires to keep taking more and more from you?
- 1 y
The government should be for the people, not for the rich.
I'm more concerned about Nancy Pelosi than I am Donald Trump or Elon Musk.
- 1 y
Fuck her too, but she's a negligible threat compared to Trump and his picks. They aren't going to be helping the common man when all of them are billionaires.
- 1 y
You voted for the oligarchy.
She got rich from committing crimes. Elon got rich by providing products people want to buy. They're two different things.
- 1 y
Elon got rich from slavery and having rich parents.
lmao. has he grown his companies past what his parents had? Pelosi steals money and routinely breaks the law with impunity
- 1 y
Trump literally doesn't pay his workers. Also, it wasn't Trump or Pelosi. And it's easy to become rich if you start out rich. Elon got rich by having other people work for him. He didn't do it himself, nor with his own money.
he literally doesn't pay his workers? Ever? They all volunteer?
- 1 y
He doesn't pay when he's able to, past what the law makes him. We have literal examples.
- 1 y
You don't get rich by being honest, and the rich themselves play by different rules than we do.
being jealous of someone's success isn't a good look.
- 1 y
It's not being jealous, stop being fucking stupid. It's about the fact that they will get richer at the expense of YOU. They get richer because stupid people like you prop them up, while they take money away from you.
Here's the thing. Trump is the only president to leave office with less money than when he started. Elon Musk only gets money if I decide his products are worth the money.
The rest of the politicians get rich laundering my tax dollars.
I'll take the former over the latter 100% of the time.- 1 y
www.citizensforethics.org/.../
Also, Trump has done everything he can to dismantle the establishments we have in place, probably.
Also, Trump has literally been found guilty of money laundering and then some. Tf are you talking about? So you posted a link that had nothing to do with what I said, which was an actual fact.
https://www.bbc.com/news/business-56438914
Guilty of money laundering? Prove it.- 1 y
It talks about how his loss in revenue had nothing to do with his presidency, and more to do with his shitth business tactics.

Not to mention his 34 felony counts. lmao. it shows he didn't cheat to enrich himself while in office. Unlike Biden and Obama.
- 1 y
No, just outside of office. You all ignored the proof that he did worse shit in office, that the Supreme court decided he was immune to judgement for.
Now most of the billionaire openly supporting Trump do you think this will backfired?
