The Democrat Fake News Media establishment is having SEIZURES over ABC's legal settlement with President Trump paying him $15 million because their George Slopadopolis repeatedly LIED about President Trump over and over again.

Now these fake news people are complaining that this will send CHILLS through their news reporting because it means they will either have to tell the truth or pay the price?

The MSM has been running roughshod with the truth for the better part of two decades and apparently, the chickens are finally coming home to roost. Here's the thing, though: it's not an understatement to say that they are not, by and large, capable of honest journalism. Not because they won't, but because they probably don't know how to. If you've spent your entire professional career in news media engaging in gossip and slander, having to do actual research and check your facts will feel like learning a new language. Being dragged, kicking and screaming, out of your comfortable cave full of shadows and falsehoods, into the light, will be a harsh wake-up call.

And then there is the general public. If you think the MSM isn't prepared to do actual journalism again, do you think the public is prepared to listen to it, actually digest and process it, or are they going to start assuming that their favorite news broadcast corporation has sold out? The truth sounds like a false reality, to someone who has been conditioned to believe lies uncritically. So, for a general audience who are consumed by Trump Derangement Syndrome or whatever unreality they are immersed in, listening to actual news (or what should be the news) and being confronted with real life, instead of the fake world that's been constructed for them, it will feel like the sky is falling.

It's funny that this is being framed as a "chilling attack on media" when ABC chose to settle out of court with Trump. Libel/defamation has a notoriously high burden of proof in court. The settlement just goes to show how little ABC believed in their own journalistic integrity and decided it would be easier to just admit to wrongdoing.

Trump is also suing 60 minutes for the Kamala Harris fake interview. This will be used to build the Trump library after his term. It will be the biggest and best library of any president and it will be right in the middle of Manhattan just to rub their noses in it.

As for it having a "chilling effect on the media" maybe its needed because the Left MSM has gotten with creating false stories from whole cloth about anyone they did not like for over 20 years, and I would not be surprised if ABC folded because they knew that they would not be able to back the 'journalists' who wrote the articles because of the libellous falsehood the articles contain.
