If I am correct. Trump is saying that if they self deport. Then they can apply to come back through the proper legal channels. If they are deported by the government. Then there is a waiting period before they can even think about coming back to the United States. If even allowed to apply to come back.

I never understood why we deport them back to their country of origin. If they entered to Canada then let Canada have them. If they entered through Mexico let Mexico have them.
