I don't think you're actually supposed to do that. Like, you can do community gifts, but I don't think you're allowed to give personal gifts to a sheriff in his capacity as a sheriff.

Sure would!!! I would permanently revoke and ban the concept of "qualified immunity". My gift would be him becoming a big boy and being responsible for his own decisions.

I let the sheriff in my home town f*ck me so he wouldn't arrest me for drink driving. I was pretty hammered and 17.

  5 minutes of him grunting on top of me and it was over. He left me home and my parents never found out and I kept my licence. Totally worth it.
