I was watching it on television and reading the President’s tweets during it along with “Words of a president matter, at their best words of a president can inspire… At their worst, they can incite.” by the incoming President Joe Biden.

I will admit I read President Trump’s tweets the night prior to January 6th and I warned my relative on the phone, “make sure to tune in… I don’t know what, but something terrible will happen tomorrow”….

I used to support Trump as many of you know and that day made me go, “I’m responsible for this menace in 2017 to weasel his way into power… I have sinned. No matter what happens, I must never forget this mistake and never elect this bastard & always speak out against him always.” I wasn’t too vocal about Trump as his days as President were numbered after the election, though after January 6th, 2021 I carried that torch to now… I hoped he’d never enter public office again, well my prayers weren’t stronger than the votes. Sadly not everyone saw the way I saw and some got conned again.

In my living room with the TV on all day. I was fully expecting a shitstorm even before it happened, so I had my eyes on the TV all day while I was working from home. I didn't go to bed until about 3 AM the next day when Pence officially certified that Biden was elected President.

Pence deserves a Presidential Medal of Freedom.
