Of current matters yes. Not from stuff 50 years ago though that stuff should be known. For instance bill Clinton revealed and apologised for us government human experimentation in regards to biological, radiation, chemical, atomic and psychological experiments. Pretty horrifying what was done and the scale of the experiments. Dropping radioactive particles over us and Canadian cities, releasing biological agents in us subways, iradiating prisoners testicles etc. Anyway not one single person went to jail.
