Trump haters lost their damn minds the minute Trump put tariffs with Mexico and Canada on the table. But Mexico agrees to send 10,000 troops to help protect the border. Meaning less drugs, less guns, less human trafficking going through BOTH countries. This is a win for both Mexico and the United states because secure borders help everyone. But it's a win for TRUMP because those were HIS terms. Mexico had no intention of protecting that border until the tariffs of Trump became a powerful bargaining tool. How can you still hate this man when that was one of the best deals ever negotiated? Unless you're a fan of illegal drugs, guns, human smuggling and all that, I guess. Liberal Trump-haters, is that what you're into?

Dargil, I've a news flash for you, and this is going to require some advanced analysis so I'll dumb it down for you. Look at these stats from US Government Customs and Border:

Land ports of entry: About 65% of seized illicit drugs, by weight, were seized at land ports of entry at the border, as indicated by CRS analysis of OFO drug seizure data from FY2014 to FY2018.
Air ports of entry: Approximately 28% of seized drugs were seized at air ports of entry during the same period.
Sea ports of entry: Around 5% of seized drugs were seized at sea ports of entry.

So you might think "wow, what a great job is being done by land and air authorities". But what the DEA will really tell you is that "ONLY 5% of major drug shipments are actually SEIZED at ports, while the vast majority of drugs get through without being accounted for". Historically, this has ALWAYS been the case.

Thousands of shipping containers arrive each day from ports all over the world, including from Mexico. Between corrupt payoffs and sheer lack of personnel to inspect them all, much of your drug supply gets through this way. And if you think for a SECOND that Covert Ops isn't in on it, you're denser than the average magat. It's how Covert and Black Ops get much of their funding - untraceable, unbudgeted money from drugs.

And for a final point, try and be honest with yourself and the right-wing for what it is; * * Since when do conservatives care about poor people dying of drug use? They don't, in fact, they encourage it.
* The only time a fentanyl death gets coverage is if some rich, white person or politician's son/daughter die from it because it was in the cocaine they used at their parties.
* Human trafficking occurs in states with the most population, CA, NY, TX, but outside of that, the next 7 states with the most are all red states.
* The absolute WEAKEST gun laws in the USA are all found in red states.

The "greatest President ever" in your view also caused a huge market drop last week, oil prices to go up, and took no responsibility for the sacking and dismantling of oversight that caused the deaths in the DC crash. Instead, he blamed it on bullshit.

Agrees to Trumps terms? Are you sure about that? Trump wanted to impose tariffs on Mexico because they "allowed fentanyl", illegal immigrants and were "exploiting America in trade deals" or whatever. Now Trump backs off because Mexico moves 10 000 national guards around to play xbox in a different geographic region?

Yeah, my dude. That is a loss. It costs Mexico basically nothing to do this and it does not benefit USA in any way and in return Trump gives into Mexicos demands of delaying the tariffs.

Still the worst president ever. Tariffs to raise prices even more was the absolute stupidest idea ever. He still hasn't done anything to lower them. He is still breaking promises left and right. Trump backed down because it was a stupid idea that would lead to massive inflation in the US. Mexico isn't doing anything. Trump caved on Canada too after politicians in the NE started complaining since Canada supplies all the natural gas, and most of the hearing oil and electricity to that part of the US. What moron thinks it's a good idea to raise tariffs on energy during the coldest month of the year? Canada and Mexico weren't backing down and Canadians and Mexicans were united in support of their leaders in protecting our own interests.

What he wanted from Canada and Mexico were not unreasonable. Trump understands this and knew that there is nothing in Canada and Mexico that we do not have in the US.
Canada and Mexico had to negotiate with Trump.
China will not be that easy to deal with but eventually will have to give Trump what he wants.
