What are your thoughts on the O. J. Simpson verdict 30 plus years later?

My thoughts are that O. J. Simpson 100% got away with killing his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her boyfriend Ronald Goldman.

I was born outside of it and upon looking at the sheer amount of evidence & the defense/prosecution, if I were a juror I’d land with GUILTY.

Though I will say the defense of OJ Simpson successfully proved that LAPD were racist back in the 1990s and were ‘trigger happy’ to try to get him for the murder even if he was actually not guilty however from the prosecution they were able to effectively provide enough evidence to prove OJ Simpson was GUILTY though playing against the cops won him a victory….

How do I know OJ Simpson was able to even commit a villainess crime when he himself got away with the first one? The hostage situation which landed him in prison for years…. Showcasing he was able to be a cold blooded predator when push came to shove as well as the domestic phone calls Nicole Brown Simpson had that showcased a history of domestic abuse.

I thought he was guilty very early in the trial. Nothing since then has made me change my mind.

It's telling that after the trial, the police did not pursue the case and look for other suspects. The police truly believed he did it and had no reason to continue looking. I'm not aware of anyone else looking either. Not the family of the murder victims, not OJ's family, and most tellingly, not OJ himself.

If OJ was innocent, there was strong motivation for SOMEBODY to find the murderer and cash in. But nobody did.

Because he was credited with "talking him down," so to speak. Keeping OJ from committing suicide.

I never thought he did it.
I recently heard Judge Joe Brown detail how he COULDN'T HAVE done it.
My neighbour and I did break-in records on it. I'm not 100% sure how he felt about it but., I kinda think he felt O. J. did it but, as I wasn't so sure and doubted he actually did it, I drew no conclusions at all on my record.
I told him an O. J. joke (I hear O. J.'s gonna get married again. Yeah, he's gonna take another stab at it.) a few years ago that he got a good laugh out of but, so did I and I don't think he did it so, just because my neighbour laughed at the joke doesn't mean he thought O. J. was guilty. It was just a funny joke.
Too bad we couldn't have had Columbo work on the case!! That WAS his territory and specialty.

Yes, but the dog cannot talk to tell people how things really went down that night. The glove didn't fit because good old Jonny instructed O. J. Simpson not to take his arthritis medication.

He beat the rap. He really illustrated that there are two tiers of justice. One or the rich and another for the rest of up. He probably spent his last dime on the best lawyers in the country. He got off so it was worth it. I hope that he is roasting on the end of a pitchfork.

I don't care much about the verdict. It seems obvious that O. J. Simpson was suffering from CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) from repeated concussions during his football career.

Sadly no. I don't know if you remember OJ when he was young. He was highly intelligent, articulate, and well-liked.

Honestly, this is a difficult topic to think about. I personally don't know the entire details to how this transpired. Some say he did it, others agree with the verdict that he didn't do it. But at this point, we might never know what actually happened.

I agree with the verdict, but Simpson slew Nicole and Ron as surely as I'm a handsome black cowboy. Police and prosecutorial misfeasance (and perhaps police malfeasance re. the blood and DNA evidence) validates Simpson's acquittal.
