Striking a child in order to cause them pain is legal where I live. This is dangerous as it both allows abuse as long as it's done in a certain form, but also makes it much harder to prove when other or more extreme forms of abuse are happening. It blurs a line that's supposed to protect children, and does so completely unnecessarily.

On the flip side, an adult cannot legally change their gender marker where I live unless they get a specific kind of surgery. This is dangerous as it pushes people who can't afford or may not even really want that surgery to get it anyway, and get it even sooner instead of taking time to really evaluate it. It is just so obviously a bad idea to push surgery as the only option for a legal issue.

Well here Thailand , I will take the paradox of WEED , I'm not anti weed ( But ) now I'd never touch it again , In my 20s I smoked everyday for probably 2- 3 years , waste of time..

I think online poker should really be legal without having to jump through hoops. I miss the old days where I could just play for real money on a poker app.

As for what's currently legal, I think that we need sensible gun laws in place. I'm not saying taking guns away but we sure as hell need better scanning for those who buy guns and not let those with dangerous mental issues get guns to harm others.

In California, an employer isn't legally required to tell you the reason they're firing you. I think they SHOULD be.
