No. The economy is raped our foreign relations are going to take longer to repair than I have left to live. Our president is talking about illegal conquest and ethnic cleansing and yet somehow people still aren't seeing the Hitler parallels.

I am on board with re-annexing the Panama Canal it's actually ours by right now because when Panama joined China's belt and road initiative, they violated the terms because they are no longer Neutral to hostile powers. The day they did that they lost all legal rights to its control because they broke the treaty that they signed for its ownership.

As long as it's at risk of not being under US control Australia, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, the surrounding islands and most of all Taiwan are doomed when China declares war because they can block passage of our east coast fleet by weeks! A war with China would be almost entirely Naval and air combat so having our ships stuck on the other side of the world with several weeks added onto their travel time and all our friends in the east are doomed.

I don't care if it will devastate Panama. If they didn't want this, they should have kept the treaty and at this point it's either we fuck Panama or we fuck every single person in the east that's our friend. Panama has a total population of 4,571,189 as of 2025. In Taiwan alone they're 23,112,793 South Korea? 51,667,029 Down under land? 26,974,026 Philippines? 120,864,358 Japan? 123,103,479.

As far as I'm concerned Panama broke the treaty it's ours by right now, they legally owe it to us. I don't care about Panama suffering the consequences of their actions and the economy supporting 4,571,189 crashing into poverty. The alternative is to leave 345,721,685 to be butchered and enslaved by a dictatorship. From the perspective of math, the choice is easy. Fuck Panama this is on them.
