Do you think Mette Frederiksen shows actual leadership skills?

When Trump floated the idea of purchasing Greenland, the PM of Greenland dismissed the idea as "absurd."

Couldn't she have worded her response in a way that had a more diplomatic tone? Isn't she missing an opportunity to have constructive talks with the U. S. about Arctic occupation rather than causing tension with allies who fund Europe's protection?

Shouldn't "leaders" handle sensitive matters in private rather than using this as an opportunity to publicly humiliate Americans?

More recently she stated "You cannot annex another country" as if speaking to Trump like a three year old. Mette, we understand that you didn't go to the Wharton School of Business and that you majored in social studies and African culture.

But that's no reason to disrespect our President. And this isn't an opportunity to teach young women how to stand up to the man, or whatever else it is you're up to. In my opinion, she needs to show actual leadership skills if she thinks she deserves respect.
