1 yAbout as low as could be, but I came in dreading it anyway. So, in a sense, he’s really delivered😂 To a degree I even didn’t anticipate, lmfao.
I’m sure plenty of people will try to claim he’s accomplished a lot, but the biggest thing to remember is that just about everything this administration puts out is a bald-faced lie. What they’re doing, who they’re doing it to, why they’re doing it…. absolutely none of it can be trusted and taken at face value. If you just listen to Trump and his cronies, then yes, you’ll of course think this is the greatest thing since fuckin’, lmao. But at this point, it’s objectively delusional to do so.
Anyway, I’m trying to think of one thing…. I mean, huge misconception is that people are trying to leave an open door for MS-13 or Tren de Aragua or whatever Latino gang they told white people to fear😂 All anyone is asking for is proper due process afforded to all people —not just citizens, but ALL PEOPLE— within US borders, BY THE CONSTITUTION. This is about following law and order, that right wingers claim to support. If you can reasonably prove to me that someone who came here is a dangerous gang member, I’ll drive them back to the border FOR YOU. No one wants that here, and anyone who claims any Americans do should immediately no longer be taken seriously. But we don’t get to skip due process just because they came from somewhere else and you’re annoyed that the laws, sometimes for better and not worse, apply to them too. If someone has problems with The Constitution, we can start talking about The Second Amendment too….. yeah, that’s what I thought, pipe the fuck down, lmfao. You don’t just get to wave The Constitution around when it suits your argument, and piss all over it when it doesn’t.
So…economy and tariffs.. what can I say that I wasn’t saying for all of 2024 on here, other than “I told you so.” A few folks are going down with the ship, but there are quite a few people suddenly conspicuously absent from GAG who would tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about, or the good ol’ “yOu’Re So cOnDeScEnDiNg! ThAt’S wHy i’M VoTiNg fOr TrUmP!!!” I’m not trying to condescend, I’m trying to INFORM…. but these days nobody likes to learn things that don’t comport with their pre-determined perceptions🤦♂️ And I didn’t even know ahead of time about Trump’s completely fundamental misunderstanding of trade deficits and what they mean. I could’ve gone tens of thousands of words with people over that too😂
So, elevated prices notwithstanding, Trump was actually handed a fairly hot economy that was trending positively, whether you want to credit that to Biden or just to the world continuing to economically recover from the pandemic repercussions. It’s most likely the latter, but at least Biden didn’t screw it up. I was pulling my hair out last summer and fall listening to people claim that the healthiest economy in the developed world post-Covid was in a shambles. Never seen such a wild and unfortunately successful disinformation campaign, made possible by Americans’ broad lack of understanding about just about everything🤦♂️😂 Your retail prices are not coming back down, guys. The wealthy people said no. Your only real hope is that they’ll get worse, but only slowly.
Anyway, what else…. DOGE was a disaster. Again, we’ll hear from the Peanut Gallery: “wHaT’s wRoNg WiTh cUtTiNg GoVeRnMeNt WaStE?”, but again, if you believe that’s what that was all about, I’d like to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge, and I’ll throw in the Golden Gate Bridge for half price. Not to mention the…wait for it…. American people’s lack of fundamental understanding (or even caring to try to understand) the geopolitical goodwill programs such as things funded via USAID get for America and secure our sphere of influence, and the hole that we leave that China can’t wait to take over. Like America doesn’t just do that shit to be charitable, or “woke” (lmao), there’s an actual big-brain purpose to all that that’s apparently flying over people’s heads. And I’m not going to sit here and tell you I had that understanding before DOGE, but upon learning about it, I understand and endorse it. But therein lies the point…. none of us knew this a few months ago, but some people heard about it learned about it, the reasons and the implications of discontinuing it, and then many, many more just said “WHAT? But muh tax dollars!” It’s that level of simpleton thinking that has us where we are today. I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be mean, but just…. holy shit🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ I had a fun week a couple months ago responding to everyone freaking out about X-amount of spending in some foreign country on this or that, and then adding up these lists of numbers meant to shock us, and then dividing it by the like 160M people who pay federal income tax, and being like “it literally all came out to like $4.37 a person, total. I lose more than that between my driver’s seat and the center console in my car every year. Simmer down🙄😂”
Trump literally said in what was effectively a State Of The Union address that money went to making mice transgender. In an official speech, lmfao. Come to find out that there are no transgender mice, just transGENIC, which is a completely different thing, that basically puts human cells into lab mice in hopes that they’ll replicate and cause a closer-to-human response to scientific testing. Nothing to do transgenderism whatsoever, yet probably more people than not who heard that are still walking around thinking that’s true, because the fucking President of the United States said it🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
THAT’S why this is so dangerous, because he does this constantly, hundreds, if not thousands, of times since he arrived on the political scene. And as a result, I’m just so fucking alarmed at what Americans’ heads are filled up with, it’s absolutely bonkers. Just living in The Land Of Make Believe with King Friday and Henrietta Pussycat and shit, lmfao. I just hope Kid Rock didn’t shoot up a cage of lab mice with his super-cool-and-tough AR-15 in error.
I mean…. KID ROCK is hanging around The Oval Office. Sign #4,616,392 that that things are NOT ok, lmfao

How is this real life?🤦♂️😂 I need to hear more about it, and I can’t imagine it’s just 100% to help the common man, because holy fuck, if I could shake some sense into anyone about anything right now, it would be “the common man” and to tell them that not this guy or anyone in his orbit gives two squirts of piss about anybody common. They don’t even care about entry-level rich. The rich, and the wealthy…. not the same. If you fly first class you’re still a peasant. They only rock with you if you fly private.
BUT…. I go to a ton of concerts, and they’re not wrong about the pricing and the monopoly that exists. I endorse getting that lowered. But my main concerns of a politician are that they put universal human rights first, and money is riding in the backseat. And that to me is more than “matter of opinion”, that’s a should-be-objective moral and ethical guideline, of existential importance to prioritize. That is NOT Trump and MAGA. They won’t deliver it in any great measure to many of the people they’ve promised it to, but that combined bigotry attempted acts of cruelty (however dressed up legally) towards anyone perceived as “other”, are what makes this a particularly evil movement at its very core.
So between that inherent evil that MAGA seeks to carry out as just a part of “who they are”; ham-handed bungling of the economy that he could’ve just sat back and let cook, and instead made an unforced error that has negatively impacted the world economic order in search of a new reality that can’t be feasibly realized (you think Americans are gonna work in cog factories for cents an hour doing menial labor? Just lmfao. Maybe make sure you have your own reliable homegrown supply chain in order FIRST before you start disrupting the global one. Did this guy SERIOUSLY go to Wharton?🤦♂️🤡 Just a fundamentally flawed understanding of how economics and trade and supply work on a global scale.)
Ridiculous tariff numbers…
“Everybody who does numbers was like ‘OOH…this is not numbers…this iiiiissssss…not the numbers that I thought it was when I…OOOOH’ ”😂😂😂
https://www.instagram.com/reel/DIkE6V8uYJw/
And he keeps making these bold tariff declarations and then backs down within a week or less. He’s out of his mind, and the market suffers from the instability and uncertainty. Do it or don’t (DON’T, lmao), but stick to your guns one time. All his fucking tough talk. Fake-ass Tony Soprano🙄
Don't even get me started on Ukraine. The public meeting with Zelenskyy is maybe the most disgraced I’ve ever felt about being from here. Absolutely shameful. And the rest of the world rallying behind Ukraine lets you know it’s an “us”-problem. And he said the war would be over his first day, lmao. I always knew that would be done by favoring Russia and fucking over Ukraine, but he hasn’t even accomplished that (thankfully).
He seems ready to ethnically cleanse Gaza and make a real estate development out of it.
His whole anti-woke thing is rolling back Civil Rights. I don’t anticipate de-segregation or anything, but some of his Executive Orders, the first fucking day, essentially re-legalize discrimination. They dress it up as something different, but that’s what it does. And you have to wonder why that was so important to them.Doesn't hold his cabinet accountable for monumental fuck-ups like including a reporter on a top secret military text chain on an app (which is a violation in and of itself, that’s supposed to be done on the official record).
My gas is slightly cheaper. But at what environmental cost. Again…. this can’t be about the money.
It’s only been a few months, and he’s fucked up more than I can even remember, lmao. Scandals that would define anyone else’s entire presidency are just an average Tuesday for this guy, I think people are getting desensitized to it, frighteningly.
But this is certainly shaping up to be the most abysmal first 100 days of any President I’m aware of, including Trump 1.0.

1 yi'd give him about 5%! His immigration idea is needed, however like everything else that moron does he has fucked that up. Everything else he is doing is just to make him and his buddies richer. With just a bit of luck what he will get is a jail cell.

1 yHe is surprisingly worse than he was last time he was in office.
He revoked environmental protections just like he did last time, he sides with corrupt billionaires just like he did last time, and he lies & never keeps promises just like last time (see a pattern?)I was a supporter of his and I absolutely have nailed down the reasons why I didn’t like him before specifically the not keeping promises since they’d be good promises. 1. Replacing Obamacare with something better is good, though he never released what the replacement would be other than “I have concepts of a plan” after so many years in politics. 2. Infrastructure was a good idea though it was Joe Biden who achieved it and 3. Veteran Benefits, Biden did that not Trump (Pact Act)
Now he is working with Elon Musk to make government efficient for them, not the American public. He is now deporting people who don’t align with him politically. Wanting to cut funds that were already approved of, just because the free press doesn’t align with Trump’s alternate reality (NPR & PBS for example).
He pardoned the Insurrectionists which cements his legacy as an Insurrectionist since he aided and abided a rebellion against the US Govt (which stopping a Govt Proceeding falls into rebelling against the US).This is a clown who has turned American daily life into a circus with him at the helm. SCOTUS released a Majority Opinion in favor of Due Process, what does he do? He tells Fox News live he won & they sided with him when that wasn’t reality. He posted MS13 Tattoos edited onto the deported man to justify him breaking the US Constitution. Are we great again yet?

Only positive I can even think is killing the penny, though I’d say it was too little too late since he could’ve done it in his first term of office since he knew the penny was a waste of money when he walked in. Guess he was too busy getting LIV Golf Tournament deals from the Saudis at the time to give a crap.
1 yAs always I compare him to what we could've got. So he's doing really fucking good. Kamala wasn't going to help any of you, she was just a Biden 4.0 version that laughs and giggles in retardation instead of wondering off into wonderland.
I used to like the Democrats, but since Hillary in 2016 that was showing no change from Obama's 2 term... they're sick with something bad. Gavin as president is the talk now? and he ran his state how?
I view the Don as a Dem, that went Republican by name only doing the work of Bill Clinton on turbo mode. Woke democrats can go suck the dongs of their "real women" while I laugh at them losing by taking the 10 of every 90/10 issue. Keep defending illegals that are gang memebers with crimes done, keep shooting to beat the shit out of women at everything with trannies. You're only hurting yourselves.
Meanwhile people like me that was firmly on your side are peeling away and finding a new home where we feel like we need to get rid of the RINO'S just to clean house and get shit started.
Meanwhile, the other side is just becoming communist.

@goaded The majority of the jobs created were pointless government jobs, which means it cost a shit ton of tax dollars. I highly suggest doing the research on these numbers before using it again. It made me angry at the man when I did. Hint: It was all fluffed bullshit and the real numbers is horrible. Just ask AI to fact check it, DO NOT take my word for it. The devil is in the details is all I got to say.
It's kind of like that gender pay gap where they try to hit you with a statistic that shows women make less, and then they try to avoid any of the reasons that pay gap exists at all. It's sort of like that one. Oh, or like black crime and they'll point out white people do more crime without understanding per capita and that particular 13% of the population is grossly over represented in crime. Sort of just like that...
Don't be that guy. You're smarter than that. - 1 y
"Just ask AI to fact check it"? That's about as sensible as asking some of the trolls on here.
"The majority of the jobs created were pointless government jobs"? No, they weren't. They couldn't possibly have been because 8 million is getting on for half the total number of people employed by the federal, state, and local governments. Not to mention people who check your food for diseases and poisons (to take an example of people who Musk is firing right now) are not "pointless".
"In 2023, around 19.58 million people were working for state and local governments in the United States. This is much higher than the number of federal government (civilian) employees, which stood at about 2.87 million people in that year."
www.statista.com/.../ - 1 y
bro dont listen to that loser who is doubting your opinion. he's from Germany and he thinks he knows more about our country than we do. he thinks random bullshit articles he finds online based on leftist propagandas are "facts" and will dismiss your own personal experiences with them like a true idiot.
- 1 y
@Filthy_Immigrant Thanks for the heads up. I'm starting to have that same opinion since what I just said to him was dismissed without much thought about the details.
@goaded Re-read your quote please -->"In 2023, around 19.58 million people were working for state and local governments in the United States. This is much higher than the number of federal government (civilian) employees, which stood at about 2.87 million people in that year."
1) Who pays them? A government job is a net loss for the country. The national debt isn't going down at all with those jobs. Sure they pay taxes as well but its other people's tax dollars that pays them to begin with. Understand?
2) What are the jobs? Sorry but if you're going to argue that stuff like trans inclusive HR departments (or what I call the council of Karens), are not pointless jobs, then we will have to accept that we disagree. There is a lot of redundant jobs that were created (like all those new IRS agents for instance.) Obviously we can't pull up every single job and decide if it was pointless or not, but I'm of the opinion from what I've seen get the axe, they were dumb pointless jobs. - 1 y
not surprised he has a tendency of literally dismissing everything, even if you bring real facts and your own personal experiences to the table. he will either bring up "fact check" nonsense or any little random bullshit he can find to twist the narrative. but will eventually spiral emotionally and then block you once he realizes you won't succumb to his nonsense.
I should know cause he already blocked me, reason why I know you are arguing with him is because you mentioned him - 1 y
@Filthy_Immigrant You're spot on correct. Been trying to figure out what makes these particular users tick. Some are radical left with chronic TDS and others are religious zealots that calls everyone that disagrees the Devil. I just see people that don't live in reality. And here we have primarily the chronic TDS users, because this question attracted them like flies on shit.
Trumps approval rating doesn't reflect what most of these g@g users believe... simply doesn't. I'm reading what arguments have been made and their old and have already been crushed in the political world... and the same made for TV talking points too... incredible.
Meanwhile as they parrot those old attempts for "gotcha" moments, the majority of CNN viewers don't even agree with them. Like the 'due process' argument for example... they're provided that and it's not the same as a citizen's, and then they try to argue how it will be done to citizens (fear mongering) and it already has, all those January 6 people that didn't get due process thanks to their boy Biden. The Democrats already dropped that issue once that was shown, but it gets brought up here as if it's a new argument. That's just one example out of many from the same guy. Old shit that's already been crushed in the real political world.
Like I originally said, they're taking the 10 side of every 90/10 issue and even CNN approval ratings reflect that. If they're not even being realistic about what they oppose, they're not going to beat it with old destroyed arguments. It's fine for people to not like Trump, but TDS is nonsense and even those old people that's been told their SSN will be taken away by Musk are going to realize that was a complete lie before the midterms, as well as other lies. - 1 y
"A government job is a net loss for the country."
It is? Air traffic controllers? Weather forecasters? The FBI? Department of Justice? IRS agents? (Every extra dollar spent on them investigating rich people pays back $14.) Food safety inspectors? Did you know Trump's food division chief of the FDA used to work defending the company that poisoned babies? How about the inspectors general, who's job it is to uncover genuine wrongdoing, fraud and waste? In one case an IG was responsible for recovering tens of billions of dollars.
Unsurprisingly you seem to have forgotten your claim was that "The majority of the [16.6 million] jobs created [under Biden] were pointless government jobs", and are pivoting to other things, now you know it's not true. - 1 y
@goaded Here is something to look up that I haven't researched yet... IRS agents that have just been recently found that were not paying their taxes. Apparently is was quite a lot of them.
It's a lot of money. When I was in the military I didn't have to pay taxes when I was in a war zone. Bro I came back to the regular world feeling like I was rich.
They're job is to track down people that don't pay their taxes and then that? Like I said I haven't researched it yet, I'm just being told about it. Look up how many new IRS agents were hired under Biden and then do the math. I think by the end of that, you'll at least agree some of those jobs were complete bullshit. - 1 y
Just to be clear, you've gone from (paraphrased) "Biden created about 8 million pointless government jobs" to "a government job is a net loss for the country" (even the police, fire departments, IRS, weather forecasting, air traffic control, etc.), to "some IRS agents might be cheating on their taxes".
They're not. They're late in paying them. What would happen to you if you were late paying? A small fine and some interest on the amount.
If every IRS agent failed to pay their taxes entirely (which they're not), it would still be a drop compared to the ocean of uncollected taxes of just a few multi-millionaires.
The "scandal" was disclosed in 2024, under Biden, by an inspector general. Another IG was responsible for recovering about a thousand times as much fraud ($40 billion, compared to $46 million in late taxes). Trump fired him. Illegally. - 1 y
@goaded I purposely didn't research this just so I can let you teach me something I don't know. I'm just listening. I catch a hint of bias, but that last part has me wondering... is there more to this? I can tell you did look into it. Why are the centrists using this as a talking point against the Dems? They're not republican or Democrat so why do they give a flying fuck about this?
Remember I'm not arguing about anything, I'm learning something from you. Dig up the dirt on both the dems and republifucks... which ones are on the same team like that USAID stuff in the uniparty? - 1 y
@goaded I consider myself a centrist. At the DMV though I'm called a non-partisan... that's usually where most of us Americans get registered to vote by the way... if you don't choose a side you have to be labeled a non-partisan. I don't have a team. Other's like me are called swing voters. You're too used to being on this dumb site and dealing with people that are strictly on one side or the other. Trust me bro... I can tell. Remember when you started calling me a Republican just because I didn't agree on certain things? It's normal to not agree on EVERYTHING, unless... unless you're part of a gang/group/cult where you have to agree. I'm talking about it.
As for AFAICS... I'm sticking to my rule about not looking anything up while talking to you, I don't know what that is... what is it? I don't recognize that acronym. I want to hear about what this is from you and want to know why I should know about it.
Feel free to talk about your own country too. Like why is AFD considered the Nazi party by your media and all opposing parties? I just want to have a conversation and I'm not trying to come off as some know it all that wants to win internet battles. I want to know, what makes you so interested in American politics? You have questions? Ask me what it's like to be a citizen here. I'll give you reasons of why I hate the left as well as why I hate the right, but mainly why I hate the establishment uniparty. No need to be confrontational, let's just talk about these things.
I'm just trying to talk... I'm not trying to win a internet battle if you catch my drift.

1 yFantastic job!
He's doing really well at trying to circumvent the Constitution, follow in the footsteps of Hitler in destroying any kind of Democracy, causing tremendous financial hardships on millions of Americans, alienating every decent ally the US has, destroying the US economy as a whole and having our trading partners lose all faith in our government.
He gets high praise for being the Project 2025 marionette while still trying to gaslight everything he does wrong and without reason. He gets an A++ at choosing the MOST incompetent cabinet full of evil-doers from an entire host of sycophants.
Also, high marks for actually DOING EXACTLY what he accused Biden of doing, which he didn't do, and that's weaponizing the DOJ, FBI and anyone who'll blindly obey and go after his enemies/distractors/former prosecutors, including their families.
Let's not forget mistakenly deporting legal immigrants and purposefully deporting American citizens who speak out against his policies and misdeeds. Women who've already lost bodily autonomy should expect to soon lose more rights over the short run and damn near every right they fought for if he's allowed to continue.
Let's go tariff's! What a great idea!

1 yI’m happy illegal immigration is being cracked down. But he’s still a fucking moron, rest of the world hates his guts. He’s very prejudiced towards minorities and lgbtq. His policies are going to lead to recession. I will promise that.
