In the UK 50% of high Street shops are Turkish barbers but the people working in them are often Kurds. So are Turks and Kurds kind of the same thing?

What the British & French did in Middle East after the first world war was criminal. The Kurdish people live in areas situated within Turkiye, Iraq, Syria and some neighbours. They have been fighting for a 'Kurdistan' for decades, if not centuries. They are definitely not Turks.
