Who do you think is good for American foreign policy in the current Trump administration?

For me it's Elbridge Colby, I love this man, a man always ready to debate with respect. I was lucky enough to have a few exchanges with him by e-mail.

have not heard of him. honestly, maybe Marko Rubio. Most of what we have are hard nosed and people get fed up with that after a while... being pushed around.

That said, I think the world needed a smack in the head to take on responsibility. we've been "towing the line" for a long time since WWII. That started to change as we sink in debt. natural process as world powers shift.

Is France receptive to americans visiting... if they cannot speak French? It was kinda tolerable before but I wonder now if French (or others) will be so considerate as they have been in the past.

I don't know, personally I always try to be nice to tourists, whether they are American or not, and whether they speak French or not. Even if a little effort can be appreciated.

I will. the talk is very direct... we are heading towards conflict in asia with China. This a major reason we are pouring $ into military again.

What foreign policy? All I've seen is a deal with a country running a black prison in Central America, constant insults of foreign leaders, praise for foreign dictators, bribes from foreign governments, a global trade war with no justification/goals/end game, and domestic inflation due to said trade war.

If that's what passes for foreign policy in your mind, you need to be committed to the same mental hospital where tRump belongs.

Yes, he knew I was French. I asked him about the strategy he thought the US should follow. And then I told him what I thought Europe should do. He agreed with me.
