As an Aussie, I just feel like the wording of who's a king or what's a king is just being taken out of modern sensibilities of the meaning of "a king nowadays is usually a ceremonial head of state, not an all-powerful ruler, with the exception of some UAE or Asian countries*"

Nick , I'm sure you worship your King everyday right mate? King Charles WOW , what a guy ! = I voted for a republic mate , make no mistake , what International shame on Australia's part.
@molonski2 Mmm yes however as a ceremonial figurehead king 👑 worshipping a photograph isn't the same as the old man "claiming ownership" of anything or everything I have to my name lol 😆 as if he just walked in on in and said "I'll help myself to this farm, to that ranch, to that lake, all those cattle, that neighbour's yard, that tin shed, it's all now the King's" - thankfully the Australia isn't an absolute monarch's lol 😆
@molonski2 some may say a figurehead is worthy of respect because they're basically a selfless individual who serves as the nation's honour or honour office you know - the same equivalent as a ceremonial presidential system or a ceremonial whatever
Rama 9 mate , was seen this way by his people , one of the worlds most loved Kings.
