Well... the asshole finally did it - started a war. No congressional approval as he was required to get. Just ordered it.

The United States has entered Israel’s war against Iran.

American warplanes dropped bombs on three nuclear sites in Iran, President Trump announced on Saturday night, bringing the U. S. military directly into the war after days of uncertainty about whether he would intervene.

Answer: They are in The Middle East, the center of conflict.

They also happen to not be Israel, so that is especially bad news for them.

My analysis of the scenario:

For Trump, a War in Iran would make his TACO reputation, empty threats, broken campaign promises of fixing the economy, hide his unpopular bill, bury his GOP Split, all disappear with a big ol’ distraction.

For America, this would mean increase in Oil Prices, fears of boots on the ground, and most likely another ‘never ending war’ scenario, putting countless of service men in the region at risk.

Though Trump doesn’t want to do it because he is afraid that the ‘Bunker Busting Bomb’ won’t be strong enough and will need multiple strikes to smash their underground nuclear enrichment facility which will make Trump look weak politically especially if it draws this out to months.

for longest times, they've been saying "death to israel", going to wipe you off face of the earth.

The problem is the words... like grandma said... be careful what you say and if gonna say something, be nice. we'll... they weren't.

Meanwhile they are refining uranium and at some point could make a bomb. would they use it... who knows, they have done some terrorist kinda stuff around that region. they sponsored groups that put bombs on children and detonated them. So, that's a problem eh?

So Israel is sitting there wondering... are we safe? How do we defend ourselves from a nuke getting in? They can't, so they premptive strike them.

Anyone can justify such action, it's a question of power to pull it off.

If they came out and said they would not do XYZ, etc etc... it might end without death. Seems unlikely at this point.

They chant that they want your family dead. There is that. They come to America on student visas to chant that they want your family dead. At some point in your life you might want to consider "cowboying" up. It's your sacred duty to protect your family.

We attacked them because Israel is asking us to do so, in order to get rid of their nuclear facilities. They have at least 3 in the country that we know of. By doing this, Israel can continue to bomb them without fear.

I'm firmly against attacking Iran, but in this case there are a number of decent reasons.

• Iran regularly destabilizes the region by funding proxy wars.
• Iran funds the Houthis, which hinders trade in the region.
• Iran has been openly aggressive towards Israel who... for better or worse... has been an extremely useful ally.
• Iran's regime has been unbelievably abusive to it's citizens
• Iran having nuclear capabilities does actually represent an existential threat because we've seen how willing they are to be aggressive, and allowing them a nuke will make them much less touchable.

israel is playing the us government to be their bully. it's obvious to me that the public doesn't want a war with iran but we want to see israel get a little payback. i think that will appease society for 2 weeks. i want to see israel pay for their crimes and trump knows that if he has to support israel, he will lose americans and chaos will ensue.

Obama, had originally made an agreement with them, that, they would stop enriching uranium, therefore ending their nuclear program. In exchange, we would lift sanctions against them

Iran has no ICBM rocket systems. I don't doubt that they are running research and development programs for them, but so far what they have is in the 500-1500 miles range.
