Hint, they were all Republicans.

Hint, they were all Republicans.

Biggest thing I want everyone to see and know about this, is that all kinds of amendments were proposed to cap the ceiling of wealth allowed to benefit from these big tax cuts that the working people will see none of and are getting things TAKEN AWAY from them, nothing coming in return…. and the Republicans resoundingly voted “NAY!”, to the prospect of mega-wealthy people not enjoying enormous tax cuts they don’t need, and trying to balance it out by taking everyone else’s services and safety nets…. which are the very things that make American society so great.
These soulless fucks looked you all dead in your eyes all of 2024, telling you that THEY’RE the ones fighting for the common American. Welp…. rubber, meet road….
“What if we protect Medicaid and instead just mix these tax cuts for people making over 10 million dollars a year?”
”NAY!!!”
“Ok, how about we cut it off for those making over $100M a year?”
”NAY!!!”
”Alright then…. what about $500M a year?”
”NAY!!!”
”Ok, ok….. surely you can agree that people make a BILLION a year aren’t in need of tax relief….”
”NAY!!!”
I mean….. WHAT ELSE DO YOU GUYS NEED TO SEE? And they’ve been telling us the money will “trickle down” since Reagan, yet it never really has. Maybe THIS TIME, 40 years later, it’ll work out like that…🙄🤦♂️ In the meantime, make sure you have a spare room available. You might be on the hook for taking care of grandma now.
*nix these tax cuts
Most everyone on rep side, that's why I've generally been a Ron Paul/Rand Paul republican leaning.
There's some good parts to it but the debt burden is bad unless we get a full on manufacturing going.
Realize all the stuff is projected.. not counting new wars and expenses, recessions, disasters.
It's a gamble. It's rare I've approved of a budget. This one has some good things in it and they have trimmed costs which were excessive, that's good. Maybe went too far and tax breaks maybe too much.
We'll find out won't we...
Enjoy your life while it lasts, every few years, it's been crap like this... when the other guys take over, it will be some new crap.
If you run a business, you are likely happy, if you get tips, likely happy, or a senior on SS.
If you are a child, you might have some new problems...
Hard to imagine that 16 million Americans were stupid enough to lose the health care they currently have under Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill" but that is exactly what they did. Furthermore, enjoy paying your 10% increase in energy bills.
Morons were played.
Voting to kill Americans the day before the countries birthday. A day to go down in history.

@NoDecision Anytime anything goes through that Democrats do not like, it is echoed by comments like this..."spineless dicks" etc etc.
Maybe those detractors should just shut up with the insults, and see EXACTLY what the results are of this particular bill or anything, for that matter, that the Republicans do and see how it effect them personally, economically socially, BEFORE making "spineless dicks" comments?
To make a 'spineless dicks' comments about the bill, I would have to know EXACTLY what was in the bill, how it negatively effect me, to elicit that kind of thoughtless comment?
@Bricealan I am not a big follower of the news. Most of it is bad anyway. So in case some of us missed it, please refresh our memory as to what good came out of the bill.
They were fulfilling the promises that President Trump made to the country that got him elected. They realize that the bill is necessary to mov ethe country forward. We need lower taxes to stimulate growth. We need to enable our energy sector to produce more and we need to hire more ICE and Border Patrol agents. The 1.7 trillion cut to the budget will help with the debt and cutting illegal aliens from Medicaid will save billions every year. It showed their commitment to the American people.
@exitseven But didn't Trump promise no tax on SS? How did that work out?
@NoDecision I have heard conflicting accounts on this. I heard today after he signed the bill that there will be no tax on social security. The bill is 900 pages so I do not know what the real story is. I have heard a few days ago that that part was stripped out.
Even so, the other tax cuts will be welcome. Trumps tax cuts during his first term helped me a lot. Just having them not expire is good for me and most American taxpayers.
@exitseven They may not live on Social Security but that doesn't mean they don't receive it. Many wealthy Americans, including millionaires and even some billionaires, receive Social Security benefits. Even if someone has substantial assets, they can still qualify for and receive Social Security benefits if they meet the program's requirements. Additionally, many of the tax breaks middle and lower income Americans will get are set to expire in 2028 while the wealthy receive permanent extensions of many of the 2017 tax cuts that were not originally intended to be permanent and set to expire this year. I think we really just need to go to a flat tax rate for everyone and jettison this complicated tax system that can be manipulated so easily and have everyone pay a fair share of taxes.
@msc545
Take from the poor to give to the rich. Wow! I like that. I can see it on the big screen now. You know you sound like a lunatic saying this. Reverse Robin Hood. I like you kid but get real. That's not anywhere near Trump's objective. That man cares deeply for the middle class and especially the poor. The fact that you say these things tells me you do NOT know DJT. So stop making shit up!
Well the democrats couldn’t stop him from becoming president. They did not have anyone who could defeat him. So it is what it is for four more years…..
@nawtee_me I mean I voted for trump over Harris. I just didn't want another Biden in there. But, have we gotten worse? Time will tell. I just feel that Trump thinks of himself as God's gift to the US Taxpayer. We'll see how all that plays out.
@Asgard356 But admit it, you have no idea what she would really do, as she kissed Biden's ass. Maybe she would let in another 20 million illegals. We will never know.
@Asgard356 That could very well be, but I guess we will never know.
if you think it's the other but "whatever party you favor" that's the problem, you are the problem. stop acting as if not every politician ever did their best to fuck everyone over and lie just to get elected and then do the exact opposite of what they promised. indirect democracy is the problem. not democrats or republicants. those are just copies of the same shit but in different colors.
Wait the DNC is full of republicans? It was the DNC that allowed the bill to pass, they are the one's who refused to hold an open primary and forced Biden out so they could hand the nomination knowing Harris had no chance of defeating Trump. Had the DNC allowed voters to pick a better candidate through a proper primary, Trump would have lost thus no bill being passed.
@mfused411 That was the plan since the 2020 election, Tulsi ended Harris's campaign, so the DNC switched to plan B which was to rig the primary for Biden and make Harris his VP so in 2024 they could avoid an open primary by stringing voters along like Biden was running for a second term than force him out last minute so they could give the nomination to Harris knowing it was to late to choose someone else. Had the DNC held an open primary with debates, Harris wouldn't have gotten the nomination and we most likely have Kennedy as president.
@exitseven That's not true, when the primaries started, Democrats had Kennedy, who would have beaten Trump, polls showed this. Problem was Kennedy was never given a fair shot in the primaries, then Democrats turned him because the DNC establishment told them too because instead of falling in line like Sanders did, Kennedy gave a big FU to the DNC and launched a independent campaign which failed because the DNC did everything they could to ensure he couldn't win, and Trump was complacent because he caved to Democrats demand of boycotting the first debate if Kennedy was included, he should have just agree to debate Kennedy, and if Biden was a no show it would have been a really bad look on Democrats.
@mfused411Yea right, almost no Democrats advocated for open primaries while the primaries were tanking place, they all sat silent as the DNC rigged the primary against Kennedy and others.
@mfused411 I'm a Democrat and I totally admit that he was pushed out. He should have been, he was in no shape to be president.
The real crime here is that Democrats new all about it and they covered it up, so they deserved to lose. They didn't have any selection process, they just picked Harris who had no hope of beating Trump anyway.
We got Trump and we deserve him.
@exitseven Zogby polling Kennedy's campaign did says other wise, It show Kennedy beating both Trump and Biden in a one on one match up, even showed Trump beating Harris when other polls didn't.
www.instagram.com/.../
That's politics.
One could ask a similar question when Obamacare (ACA) was passed... they were all Democrats.
@exitseven gradual?
The people who voted for this bill cannot claim they are fiscally responsible.
Quite the opposite actually.
But hey, I guess you just like ballooning the debt and telling other countries how to run
How’s Canada doing by the way?
Canada is doing surprisingly well. I don't like the Liberals here at all but I can't complain about Carney. It's nice to have a finance guy addressing our debt problem. Exports are up ironically in 2025 and trade deals were just completed recently with Australia, Japan, China, Brazil, UK and a massive one with the EU. Not crazy about aligning with the EU on trade and defense but as a smaller country Canada has to do what's best for us. Thanks to Trump cutting up the previous trade deal, we don't have to sell oil to the US at a discounted rate anymore so my province just finished its fiscal year with an $8.3 billion surplus. I doubt Canada will sign a significant trade deal with the US and it will likely be limited to steel and automotive. Those are the 2 industries that will be in big trouble in both countries if something isn't done soon
someone seems to feel a bit butt hurt about that.
Oh well, Happy official no kings' day!
The other celebrations were a bit premature, I guess they don't teach that in school anymore.
Enjoy, you have at least 11.5 years more to feel this way.
One more leftist calling people names. . . and you probably also think that conservatives are filled with hate, but you should take a look in the mirror.
Who is calling who names? If we are talking politicians you will have to wait in line for the name calling as there is a line a mile long.
As I said, look in a mirror. You disagree with people's choices so you call them names. That's on you.
I am talking politicians. If you are not happy with one don't you call them names, even under your breath. If you say you don't you are most likely also a liar.
So your name calling is not limited to politicians.
Answer my question. You never do this?
Not very often. Name calling doesn't hurt the intended target and it just reveals your low level of functioning.
So does having to answer as a anon instead of your self. Have you no guts? Anons are cowards in my book.
If you think I care about your opinion, you are delusional.
One of fifty in the senate:
https://www.youtube.com/embed/dq75gFR7EVQYes, because the DEMOCRATIC COMMUNIST PARTY OF AMERICA is too stupid to know what is better than nothing, so they put forth anything that puts money in their pockets and boosts their power base, not to the benefit of the people. Who they represent
Yep and it’s what the majority of the voters voted for so shut up
The democrats are the spineless dicks. SSA recipients won't be paying taxes on their HARD earned checks ANYMORE thanks to the BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL!!!
REAP IT!
Is there anything in particular you didn't like about the bill?
Yes, the rich benefit more than the poor. Trump sucking his supporters's dicks.
Yes, they didn't shore up Social Security and it benefited the rich and not the poor.
@mfused411Do you not read the news? Do you not know that the Republicans rule? Even the Dem holdouts gave in at the end.
Can you actually explain how “it benefitted the rich and not the poor” you really aren’t articulating your views clearly
@WhiteBoyChill No I am not. I am tired and bummed/burned out. I don't deal well under those circumstances. My apologies.
What I want to know is what all the MAGA people will do when they get screwed by the new bill and yet still feel loyal to Trump. Perhaps they will find a way to blame Democrats for this as well?
Loose your health care so the rich motherfuckers can get big tax cuts, and get married over in Venice. Vote these Republican motherfuckers out.
None are up for reelection or are actually interested in governing for their constituents
Well as it stands, Trump can not run again. If he can we are in a world of shit.
Which is why it doesn't matter how badly he fucks the country up, because he isn't going to be POTUS again. Same with all those who voted for his Abomination. None of those that aren't members of the MAGA cult, running in 2026, or still care about those who elected them voted in favor of it.
He is certainly going to try to run again if he is still alive and functioning. If he is not then a clone of him in some fashion will be running in. The Republicans will support the clone just as they did. Trump. Trump may not be with us anymore but Trump ism sure will be and that's going to be an ongoing problem if our country still exists, which it may not.
@msc545 I don't think he personally will. Vance probably will, but MAGA might be more of a cult of personality than anything else. That means it won't survive without Trump being there. He's old and there's a limit to how long he can last. He'll be 82 (if still alive), in 2028 and he's not in good health due to his weight. He's the oldest POTUS we've had. He won't get the support he needs against a competent competitor in 2028. Plus, he can't begin the ballot without changing The Constitution and he needs A LOT more support for that to happen. If his plan isn't enacted before the midterms, there's a very real chance it will be killed in Congress.
He can and will do anything he wants unless there is somebody to stop him and so far that hasn't been the case. He is already violated the Constitution in multiple ways and nobody has stopped him. District Court judges are ignored by him and the supreme Court just pretty much lets him do what he wants. When the supreme Court has a role against him. He has ignored them too.
@msc545 He's eroding confidence in him. His plans are all failing, which all his promises are being broken. He's doing so much to shift focus from his most recent failure to something that hasn't failed yet, when that does he shifts to something else. People are beginning to realize this. Eventually he'll either fuck up too big to shift awy from, or he'll have failed so often people can't ignore it. Most who follow politics already know he's scrambling to do something that won't backfire.
I wish that what you were saying was something that I actually thought was true. What I've seen instead is that his followers and supporters overlook every bad thing he does and emphasize every neutral thing. They also literally lie about the bad things he has done and try and twist them into something more positive for themselves. This has gone on for a long time or at least it seems like a long time and it continues. Unabated.
Trump is very dangerous but it really is not all about Trump that much. Instead, it was really about the fact that the congressman into a large extent the supreme Court refuses to do anything about him and his behavior and when they do try he simply ignores them. That is a recipe for a really major problem as if the problem we were having now is not major enough. I feel like I'm witnessing the absolute decline and end of my country.
@msc545 We will not be tge best country in the world after thus. Yet if enough resistance is implemented against Trump after the midterms, we will survive. If ge tries to cancel either elections, it will be stopped by the courts as he can only do it under specific circumstances, and he can't substantiate that anything happening at the time of the election justifies that.
We have never been the best country in the world. That is just cheap propaganda. The truth is that we are a really a terrible country because all we have been doing since the day we started was making a war on other people for money and power.
Trump can do anything he wants because the courts don't have police and they don't have an army. They can issue orders all they want but how are they going to enforce them?
Drum full order people to do everything they can to ignore the results of any elections that are held and they will do that. The election results will be incomplete at best and will never be implemented and people that try to take off is based on those election. Results will be arrested for thrown in prison similar to all the citizens that are now being thrown in prison by ice. Trump once said that he could shoot somebody in broad daylight in public on 5th avenue in New York and that nothing would happen to him. For once in his life. I think he was right about something unfortunately.
democrates had their chance and blew it
Patriots who love this country. Not those other Democrat spineless dicks.
REPIGLIKSCAM who are repaying their filthy rich donors !!!
Equal rights. Equal rights...
he earns more than you.
Different rights. Different rights...
WTF?
And who are the spineless dicks who voted against it?
Aw, cupcake. Are you upset about the bill? How come?
Hakeem Jeffries made it sound so good that more republicans signed onto it after his 9-hour speech.
I think your giving spineless dicks a bad rap
That's gonna sting
See, we can agree on something :)
The majority of Americans
So you admit you don't know what was in the bill?
Welp
