I knew who Kirk was. I'm a conservative but I think it's a waste of time arguing with college students. I turned conservative after college when I saw how much tax was taken off my pay stub. There is no reason to be conservative until you are actually paying taxes. College kids don't care about paying taxes and where tax dollars are spent.

As he said they are the youth about to start running the future whether we get a say or not. I think his main point was to make sure people were on firm ground with their beliefs. He obviously at the very least opened a lot of minds and got them out of conservatives are all nazis bubble and on a more united path than any of their circles could.

Well Paul went to a Greece school for 4 like years debating on their campus in similar ways. He simply followed the example of the Bible he believed. It wasn't dumb just based in actual faith and care for the generations he spoke with. He made his points very clear everytime he went out for debates. there's been so much ignorance proven and showcased and brought out of people now that needed to be in the public eye more. The true severity of the situation was in people's faces for the first time.

I had friends who said bad things about him so I thought he was a bad guy. But I came across a you tube video of him debating people and I actually liked what he said. I ended up watching a lot of his videos. I didn't agree with everything he said, but I did most of it. But the important thing was he engaged people in debate and challenged ideas. He changed my mind on some things I believed were objectively true.

Right thought the same till I checked his youtube page with full unedited debates. He was honestly very human. He had confidence in his beliefs way past just yelling anyone off. didn't straight shut anyone off for just any differing opinion unless they spat just pure hate at him. He held his own which most can't seem to do. there's a toddler mentality growing if you step back and look at everyone, he mostly exemplified how to do better in that. Talk. Its simple. He proved you can get at least somewhere real with that. People only screaming nazi and bigot while shutting people off because they have nothing real to give does not a single thing and I think we should at least learn to agree on that. Or the insanity just boils and gets more dangerous. Lost an old friend from all this, not a word from her, just twitter and tumblr rants about the man. Not a single proof given yet warranted ending it all between us. The mentality of that is nazi. They always cared for the underdogs, in this case trans people so its F everyone else for them and so many others that are like that. All I did was say I was more in favor of him and I'm out. So... I don't know I'd like to understand why ya know. Why the hate with little to no action in the learning of this person. I'd do the same if one of them if they stood for everyone near as much as he did.

I didn't know much about him. I never followed him. I mainly knew about him from his "Prove me wrong" tables.
I agreed with him on trans-sexuality but not about abortion or religion. I strongly disagreed with his support for Israel but it seems like he was beginning to see the light on that issue before he was killed.

Yep and he also states repeatedly in all his debates that this is his opinion because he believes directly from the bible. He doesn't say this is the altright truth for everyone he says these things to make points clear and show where he comes from and why. Most people who followed him didn't think the same to a T, they followed because he spoke of facts and brought opinions to the table that should be addressed when people claim to be Christian and trans and such. Its simply stating fact and trying to make zure we keep ourselves in check. Look up his better moments to also judge his character by. He talked to gays and everyone exactly the same. He simply just stood his ground and wanted peoplle to stand on something firmer than just make believe or base written word of anything by just what gets repeated through social medias and such. But he had heart and a pretty damn smart, fun personality with all types he talked to. Watch full vids he has on youtube, not any of the shorts made by him or others, full context is needed in debates

He didn’t deserve to be shot but I’m probably not going to watch his videos either but that doesn’t matter because he already has many other followers and people who like him.
I do think it’s sad he died but I find it hard to cry about the death of a person I have never met or spoken to before.

I have watched a few of his debates with other people. Charlie Kirk seemed like a very religious man and I’m not religious. I am not a believer of God. It also seems like lots of Charlie Kirk’s debates were with people from the LGBTQ community. I’m not part of the LGBTQ.
So I’m probably not going to consider watching more since I’m not religious and not LGBTQ

He talks with all sorts but the heavier ones tend to be with the gays and some religious ones. But in the middle there's some genuine advice for students and such. It's just how he carried debates vs how any other person would. To me its a very interesting character study. The point was to keep people on firm grounds vs just echoing what they hear around them. To strengthen beliefs for whatever they were. I find it interesting to watch because he does it with care but also like hard parenting. And its neat when it works out, gives me some hope. But I get it if its not for you and appreciate you looking in a bit.

Start with his unedited videos if you care to get a fuller picture. To me he's sparked too much ruckus for me to only take word of mouth knoledge. If he were trans or hard left I'd be just as inclined to look into him as directly as I could. I do not care about politics in this case, I care about who this human being really was and why someone would want to kill such a beloved figure from one side. His relevancy is with freespeech and what that means in and around our reality, if you dont care about that then you won't care either way.

I had watched many of his YouTube videos. I saw him as an intelligent man, with some beliefs that I agreed with, and others that I didn't. But he usually seemed open and willing to discuss controversial topics with others.

Right I think most importantly he gave an example of unity and understanding that really hasn't been as well accomplished recently. You'd really have to see a good chunk of his full unedited content to have a fair grasp of who he was though and not a lot out there who actually care for context for more than a few 30 second clips or twitter rants.

CK was one of the main reasons Trump made huge gains among the young. He let college students who are conservative finally have a voice. And - not that this is hard to do - showed the world what lunatics the left are by letting them speak their minds.
