What is Congress afraid of anyway? I think this is good for all if they get opened. There’s word Clinton maybe in them, Trump whoever else. We are owed this much on what is going on. I really want to know whose name. Is that fair?

Releasing to the public enough information for us to decide for ourselves who should be criminally prosecuted will only lead to us realizing that they never will be criminally prosecuted. That’s what they’re trying to cover up. They have always known about the corruption and depravity, but those involved are too influential. As soon as voters realize that they can’t trust their elected officials to do the bare minimum of protecting children from predators, they lose confidence in government. Without that trust, they lose consent of the governed. Without that, the entire government and economy destabilizes. It would very likely mean the end of life as we know it. Particularly as it threatens the current power and wealth dynamics, those in power will do everything in their power to maintain the status quo. Even if it’s completely foul.

Affluent folks think they are above the law. They usually have to stretch it to achieve their financial victory. That being said, law to them is a condition of shades of grey rather than black and white. Temptation is easier to approach when there are few to criticize. What may be illegal on land may be at the discretion of the Captain 13 miles off shore. Legal is not always moral. Public scrutiny is much more harsh than the law and does not have loopholes.
