President Trump requested that Minnesota co-operate with DHS like dozens of states are already doing. Tim Walz apparently does not want to end the violence in his state. The question is just how will President Trump proceed?

Minneapolis police can't legally help ICE. I know that Trump considers himself above the law, but most people don't think the way he does. Besides they're already short staffed as is.

The article made it sound like it was just a city law, and other places in Minnesota might have different laws, or no laws regarding that. As for other states, they might not have laws prohibiting engaging in federal customs enforcement.
