The migration maps year after year after year keep boosting populations in Florida, Texas, Tennessee, the Carolinas, Alabama, Arkansas, along side a couple western states like Idaho and Arizona. Wherever the population flows, is were the House of Representatives gains power. There are already more red states (Senate seats), soon you will not be able to recover on House Rep seats. Rigging elections and crashing economies leads to a complete loss of power for your party.

This is one of the funniest comments I've seen in a long time, especially the part about rigging elections. I love that Repubs can't read basic graphs and look at how economies did under individual regimes when the numbers are plain as day. Currently, the destruction being done is on course to wipe out the middle class entirely and put everyone back to living from paycheck to paycheck. Congratulations, red states. None of this is to say the Dems are saviors. They are run by the same corporate interests that the R's are run by, they're just more content with basic freedoms being allowed, keeping the "American Dream" myth alive and little things like healthcare, infrastructure, education and energy which is not solely petroleum based.

Regardless of how many seats there are where, if red state voters continue to elect people who vote to destroy them, you won't have anything left that resembles a country worth living in, anymore. You will either wake up, or you won't. There IS a better choice, even though neither is great.

@loveslongnails What's funny is that GDP growth is out pacing inflation nationally. That means the economy is healthy. That trend is more exaggerated in red states and less apparent in blue states. Democrat run hell holes are sinking into recession, and red states are booming. Yet you think we are being hurt by your poor local policies.
