Out of these it would be Bill Clinton. This was when our country was at its best in my opinion. The 90s was the last good decade.
But what about you? Who would you say has been our best president that should have been for the 250th anniversary?

Trending & News It would be interesting for George Washington to see how the country he started is doing in its 250th birthday.
Right it would.
Good point. The man's head would spin after witnessing the complexity the world has taken on.
Thanks for MHO
From my lifetime, also CLINTON.
Overall, Reagan. I would say Nixon, but he's too controversial

Obama, I think.
Did you know there's an official, non-partisan, Congress-created, 250th anniversary celebration organisation that's been around since 2016?
"Comprising the U. S. Semiquincentennial Commission, established by Congress in 2016, and America250. org, Inc., the nonprofit supporting organization to the Commission, America250 is a nonpartisan initiative working to engage every American in commemorating the 250th anniversary of our country. This multi-year effort, from now through July 4, 2026, is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future we want to create for the next generation and beyond.
Former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and Former First Ladies Laura Bush and Michelle Obama serve as Honorary National Co-Chairs. The effort is supported by a bipartisan Congressional Caucus of more than 350 members — the largest caucus in U. S. history."
Even though I'm a Trump voter it might come as a surprise that I too would throw Bill Clinton's name into the hat.
I've been around since Reagan, both of the Bushes and so on (yes my age is incorrect on my profile), and it was a good time during Bill. I went to war during Bush and most of Obama and when I came back to the states... you fuckers were suddenly dividing yourselves up by race, gender, and all sorts of identity bullshit on the left. Hillary was obviously just going to deepen that, so... plus whatever Bush and Obama did economically... nothing is as bad as Biden, but I didn't come back to a place like it was during Bill. .
bill? the one who messed around with young lady? using his authority in her job? sure she 'agreed'.
he should not be honored. either bush is good, but first bush deserves honor, due to major cuts in spending but trump did that too! efficient. so trump is now.
I'm not honoring him but that doesn't take away from him being one of the best presidents of our time. Our country was at peace when he was president. You can't deny that. Unemployment was at it's lowest also.
and in leadership bill almost DOUBLED debt! the debt of a hundred years, he ADDED in just 7 years!
The U. S. national debt: : grew rapidly from $3.2 trillion in 1990, reaching roughly $5.5 trillion by the end of 1998."
bill was not very good.
And where is the debt today?
That’s not true at all. Under Clinton the federal budget was balanced for the first time in four decades. Despite republicans fighting him even on cuts that they had proposed in the past. That was the year I first recognized sabotage politics.
Less than a year into Bush junior’s term, the budget was out of whack again and hasn’t been balanced since. That is when the republicans threw away their reputation for being the party of fiscal responsibility. The cat was out of the bag, and everyone knew it.
The budget COULD be balanced again, but neither major party works very hard at it anymore. Given the amount of widespread fraud, waste and abuse and the number of politicians getting filthy rich while in office, it seems to me that they are too busy lining their own pockets to worry about the budget and how it impacts the law abiding taxpayers.
@Simslover92 the topic is clinton bill who made a big bill 😉
@Chazmatazz269 facts: national debt increased to 5.5 trillion! from 3t. DOUBLE. reckless democrats. in just his two terms. worse president until then except truman -d
when you @chazmatazz269 say 'balanced' it means by borrowed 🤫 not by only spending income!
@Chazmatazz269 if budget 'surplus' was not a lie debt would not DOUBLE but democrats have the mass media twisted for them.
see for yourself

I am from Canada and it seems like Justin Trudeau got along with Obama the most so I would say him if I was living in the USA. I don’t think his relationship with Trump and Biden was awful it just seems like Trudeau liked Obama the most.

My answer is based on personality and character.
Not politics.
OK , Jefferson is $2 Bill, Wash on $1 bill, Lincoln on $5, Jackson on $20, Grant on $50, $100 is Franklin , It needs to be a founder of the country. So James Madison is my pick.
Or you could go with Presidents that saved country. Without them , we would not have made it to 250 .
FDR , without him we would be speaking German. Lincoln again Civil War winner. Adams, Jackson , Jefferson, Washington, and Madison helped defeat British.
And Obama like it or not saved America from financial destruction in 2008 with that crisis. We were so close to a total Collapse then.
I will take Madison though.
Obama - he's the only one who won't be in his 80s by then. Obama will be 64 and not even retirement age.
Obama was a good and classy President and his being President is a symbol of America's progress over 250 years. When this country was founded, he would have been a slave. I remember that a Black man being President was practically unfathomable when the Bicentennial occurred 50 years ago.
Clinton was a happy president because he was getting blow jobs in the White House from Monica Lewinsky. He lied about it, then got caught. It was a huge scandal for a long time.
Did you know that Clinton was impeached?
As adult yes. But not when I was growing up. I didn't really know about the scandal until I was an adult. I'm just speaking on how he handled his administration vs all the other 4 presidents we've had since '93. And he honestly had a good administration in my opinion. He just was a terrible person. But you have to separate what he did as a person from what he did in his presidency.
@AviatorTom
I didn't say he was impeached because of his love affair. I was just stating that he was impeached, period.
But I didn't know that he wasn't ever permanently impeached.
Yes, even the president can lie to the Senate and they just laugh it off like a bunch of good ole boys! Lying is fun isn't it?
Thomas Jefferson or Calvin Coolidge, Neither were perfect, but they'd be better then the last ones. Personally, I think the last 5 presidents have been about the same quality wise. Bill Clinton stands out because he was a fantastic speaker. He was basically the Democrats Ronald Reagan. The problem with Bill is he couldn't keep it in his pants. So he went from being the savior of the Democrat party (when he got elected dems hadn't won the white house since the 70s) to being a clown
„And if we cannot end now our differences, at least we can help make the world safe for diversity. For, in the final analysis, our most basic common link is that we all inhabit this small planet. We all breathe the same air. We all cherish our children's future. And we are all mortal.“

I thought you were reading from the SpaceX IPO filing for a moment
Trump is fine by me, best president since I have been alive even if I still give him a 3/10.
But if it can be any that I know about i'd probably have wanted it to be kennedy.
He’s very patriotic Donald Trump so I’ll put him on it and plus it’s coming up on July 4 soon and he’s the acting president so why not?
I get he's the current president but I'm thinking in terms of who has made our country the most peaceful and economically better overall and that was Clinton if I recall correctly and I was just a child but knew that especially as I look back at our history in the less 35 years.
*last not less
Well Iran has been wishing death to America for 47 years and we don’t want them getting nuclear technology so he wants to take care of that part of it. And then we have to get the country back on track again lowering the gas prices, the food prices, and everything else and all the expensive rents.
I get that but I just don't think he has done a very great job. Economically speaking, he's perhaps one of the worst we've had in the last 35 years. Not including Biden because I realize he's the cause for it plummeting and he is trying to correct it but I think he's not doing a great job of doing so. Plus there are other reasons he's not the best president but I won't get into that.
To me as an 'outsider' it really does not matter.
The U. S. are more than just a "president" with his vassals.
Not, that I overall like the U. S. as an idea, too.
But indeed: Billy Boy Clinton brought some interesting action into the White House Temple...
Carter also was a person I almost liked.
I am glad President Trump has the honor. We need a Pro American President to remind us how fortunate we are to live in the greatest country in the world.
Besides, who else would be having a UFC fight on the White House ;lawn?
@exitseven UFC or acceptable gay porn for the deeply closeted? Umm... pretty much the same thing.
Well... Charlie Kirk is dead... the only thing I disagreed with him on was abortion.
But I guess JD Vance would be my choice after him.
If I could choose absolutely anyone, it would likely be someone like Keanu Reeves.
I do remember everything wrong with all of them... lol
Lol true but I'm thinking about who made the country the most peaceful and less corrupt and that was Clinton from as far as I can remember. I mean granted I was a kid so I didn't know much about the scandal but I remember being happy and my family being happy when he was president. And living a relatively financially sound life lol
well, here's the thing... if I dislike politics this much, that's precisely because of Bill Clinton
most of the biggest problems we have today, not only in the USA but across the world... they started with "Bill Clinton policies" (if we dig deeper however, it would be Reagan really) so, I am not really a fan of Mr Sax, lmao
every other president after has done their part to make things even worse
also... now that I am adult and can look back, I did have a great childhood relatively speaking, that on the financial side, but I was the child, lmao... I wasn't doing all of the work, and I really didn't need that much either
but anyway, yes... financially speaking, the earlier 90's were not as bad yet, so that would seem and feel like a really good time for most
Tom Massie. So much like Thomas Jefferson. But the jews and Pedocrat Republicans put him out of work. The USA will die before the traitor Trump does. Its already dead. Get right with God. Because 80% of Americans are going to die of starvation before the next election.

I’m going to have to say President Tom Kirkman from the show Designated Survivor.

Well, Obama seems to be the most recent President with any command over his faculties... so...
That's literally how low the bar is right now. Are you sane? ✅ Are you lucid? ✅ Then you are all set to be the most powerful person on Earth.
@exitseven he was born in Hawaii, so yeah he is.
@exitseven So you deny every birth certificate as legit?
@exitseven most copies of mine are too.
William Sherman
Why?
Because at least he'd win the wars we constantly get dragged into.
Ronald Reagan so I can go back to the 80s when everyone wasn't rioting in streets or trying to kill their political opponent
Unfortunately and fortunately none of them..
The best president in U. S. history; the current one.
No no no none of the above. It would have to be Abraham Lincoln
None of em. We need to abolish that, we don't need a president. We can manage ourselves.
Clinton was a very good President with a zipper problem.
Trump, he's still working at fixing the mess the other four made.
Anyone but Trump, except that I also don't want that president to be a Republican. I think Republicans have forfeited the right to ever elect another president.
So there would be no change in leadership given the two party system so awfully like a king
The one we've got is perfectly fine!!
Clinton's a lying scumbag illuminati member that cheated on his wife and had a nose like a vacuum cleaner when coke was anywhere nearby!!
The best name on that list is Trump. But even Trump is a very "mixed bag". I guess I would go with Tucker Carlson off the top of my head.
Bill is the smartest out of them all. The rest are blithering idiots.
Dwight D. Eisenhower.
I think Carter was the nicest US president
@Simslover92 Elaine I think you are right
Anyone but Grandpa Trump
John F Kennedy
Apart from not ending civilisation through delicate handling of the Cuban missile situation... which is a pretty big plus, I'll grant you... he's really more remembered for boyish good looks and an untimely end.
Put a man on the moon? Astronomical cost (like 1/4 of the federal budget in some years), zero material benefit.
Vietnam. Quagmire. And he became more mired.
etc.
@MrChinaski JFK was thrown into several messes by his predecessors, and all things considered he handled them well. He was about to expose some things that powerful people didn't want exposed, so he was murdered.
I wish Zohran Mamdani would be president
Trump.
For me its Obama hands down
Funny Valentine.
Joe or Obama.
Reagan
Trump
