So theirs a theory of a "Great Filter" to answer Fermi paradox. Fermi paradox basically means mathematical statistics we can't be alone and we should hear some level or radio chatter.

The easiest answer to the paradox is we are the first life to explore space. Not statistically likely but someone has to be the first. Where the great filler come into play any life form that could space travel effectively can't comprehend violence.

The technology needed to space travel is magnitude higher then technology that will destroy life on any planet. It would be truly alian concept to hurt someone to the space traveler. The word invade couldn't be understood let alone translated.

If we as humanity ever experience alien outer space, they got hurt and put our planet in a no fly zone.

The vastness of the universe and the laws of physics as we currently understand them make it very unlikely we're ever gonna meet another sentient space faring species.

But... our knowledge of physics has some pretty large holes in it at the moment.

The nearest planet that may have life is so far away that if they can manage to get here at all, I have a feeling they've easily got the technology to annihilate us if what's left of this planet by then is even worth bothering with.

I don't believe Aliens exist yet. In other words i believe WE ARE the aliens. I think we are a cosmic Eden. I think once we start colonizing other worlds, evolution will take it's course on those worlds. Imagine a human on Earth and a human on another world with twice the gravity of Earth, 1 billion years hence. Imagine how dissimilar they'd look.
