Do you personally support Israel, and why or why not?

We don't have any problem with the Israeli people. Our issue is with the policies of the Israeli government, which urgently need to change.

hegemony world powers should impose sanctions on Israel, just as they have on Russia and other states that undermine international order, so that its leaders are pressured to change course.

Otherwise, Palestinians risk facing genocide until they're wiped out, and no country in the Middle East will be able to feel secure about its future or its independence. The people running Israel seem to operate with a "might makes right" mentality, acting as though they can do whatever they want simply because they are stronger.

There's also something I don't understand. Iran is viewed as a major threat for trying to develop nuclear weapons, yet Israel already possesses them. Given how willing the Israeli government has been to disregard international norms, what guarantees are there that it would never use nuclear weapons against another country in the future?

Most importantly, Palestinians should not lose their homes or their right to live simply because they are Muslims or because they disagree with Israel. Even if we accept that the territory is governed by Israel and that Israel remains the state, these people should not be confined to Gaza and treated as if they're being locked away in a giant cage. They deserve to live with dignity, freedom of movement, and basic human rights.

in general i support israel because its survival is threatened and it makes efforts to lessen civilian deaths. israel does not deliberately aim at civilians.
