Why are black women expected to smile and never be angry?

why do people always expect black women to smile? or get surprised if some of us are angry? i'm sorry but the "angry black woman" stereotype fits and makes sense to me. The world is tough for most black women if not all. Yet they never expect this of other races who have it easier? do you know how many angry white women i see walking around? like what do they really have to be angry about it? it's so bizarre to me. i never understood these expectations of us. i as a black woman don't mind this stereotype. angry or happy, smile or not, people will never like us. i'm assuming we look more intimidating if we don't smile.
