Why are smokers so rude?

Why is that if there's a no smoking rule in a building, mostly a business place, the smokers will go outside to smoke but stand there AT THE DOOR and, EVERY TIME the door is opened to let someone in or out, the smoke gets blown or sucked into the building, anyway!! WHAT'S THE POINT? Are you afraid you won't be able to get back in when you're done if you step too far away? Do you not understand how doors work?

Or, you're at a bus stop waiting for your bus inside the bus shelter trying to stay out of the weather and a smoker shows up and lights up and then sits IN THE SHELTER, FORCING YOU to HAVE to smell their stink and, even forcing YOU to go stand in the weather to get the fuck away from that smell!! They act like it's THEIR PERSONAL ashtray!! Why should WE have to suffer for YOUR terrible, smelly habit? Would you like it if I stood in front of you and farted in your face?

I'm allergic to it but at least I can kinda deal with it but, what if someone else is more allergic than I am and they can't go in or out until the cancerheads have moved away from the door!! "Sorry I'm late, boss! I had to wait `til the smoke cleared from the door before I could come in!"
And, if you GIVE THEM a smoking area, THEY WON'T USE IT!!
