The right wing sure wants this because they're scared to death that if they don't do it, people might not vote for their candidates. They are right to be worried - Nobody likes them. The excuse, as usual, is that illegal immigrants might vote. There has never been any proof of that.

it couldn't possibly work. only ICE could do the intimidating. law enforcement would help them. but it wouldn't be enough unless they just started arresting everybody that didn't vote trump? that's why they want the voter rolls. so they can manually vote themselves in when those people don't vote. a default to trump. and then those eligible but don't vote he'll manually enter his name for those. they'll never know and everyone will say highest voter turnout ever!!! no one will know.

DHS has said they are going to send 1000 troops to the polls to observe. This would chill certain groups of people from showing up in force. Voter suppression.
Doing actual things that would make them popular with voters would alienate their $$$ donor base, so suppress.

I lost that house in 2011 because of property tax problems. I have a new house I’m having problems from before, but I barely made by and they doubled my property taxes. They’re screwing me over but I’m barely hanging on. Everybody else pays so little and i have pay so much. It’s a long story for private message. One day we can discuss it if you want.
