Why does life after COVID sometimes feel strangely different, even though everything looks normal again?

Sometimes I think about life before 2020 and realize just how different things feel now.

On the outside, everything looks normal again. We work, travel, go out, make plans, meet people, and carry on like nothing happened. 🌎

But deep down… does anyone else feel like something changed?

Maybe it’s how quickly time seems to pass now. Maybe it’s how much more we appreciate our health, family, and simple moments. Maybe it’s the friendships that quietly faded, the people who became more comfortable staying home, or the way we started looking at life a little differently. 🥺

And honestly, 2020 feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago at the same time.

Sometimes I wonder if the world actually changed after COVID… or if we changed, and the world just kept moving. 💭

Do you feel like life truly went back to normal, or do you think a part of us is still living in the “before 2020” world? 👀❤️
