Why do people forget Epstein was a lifelong Democratic voter and mega-donor?

[Anonymous]

[exitseven]

The democrats have been trying for years to hang some sex thing around President Trump's neck but every time they do it it just turns out some democrat ex-president or rich democrat donor is in the middle of it.

[shish_kebab]

Because it was convenient to forget that part.

[strateguy632]

it doesn't fit the narrative of holy democrats.

[NaultD]

Its a mono capitalist party in charge of America.

[Agape93]

Because he donated money to everyone, even Trump.

[Ez-Bri-Z_v2]

Absolutely true

[FrodoSkywalker007]

Trump was actually a registered Democrat for most of his life. Even most of his policies are no different than those of Democrats of previous eras. 🤷‍♂️

[Agape93]

And he donated to him as both, your point?

[FrodoSkywalker007]

Read the second part

[Agape93]

I did, and his policies aren't relevant. So again, your point?

[FrodoSkywalker007]

So, why would a "Republican" carrying out Democrat policies of a decade or more ago, be such a surprise to you? 🤷‍♂️

[Ez-Bri-Z_v2]

His policies are most definitely not democratic, even the older ones. It's purely republican and his policies are much like Joe Rogan and Bill Maher who claim to be democrats but are actually slightly right leaning/left leaning opportunists

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 You mean Joe Rogan who supported Bernie Sanders? 😂
The issue is how confused you leftists have become.
You haven't realized that the party has move much further left than it was only a decade ago.
Remember, Bernie Sanders policies were viewed as a threat to Clinton and mainstream democrats during the primaries.
Eventually Bernie the influence, and the Democrat party went so far left that even Bernie struggles to keep up.

The issue is that liberals like Maher and Rogan didn't necessarily jump to join

[Ez-Bri-Z_v2]

Yep same one who supported Trump too and has now turned back now that the ship is sinking.

Opportunists.

As I said, slightly left leaning/right leaning just depending on what is more popular and gets them views

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 The issue again is your leftist need for complete compliance.
Look at your response. You assume disagreement mean desertion. This is how the left wing has operated for a decade.

The USA has went further left over the past decade or two. No denial. Many positions fought for over a decade ago are largely agreed by both parties.
The Democrat party has continued a much further left trend to the degree that many have abandoned it. Maher and Rogan are simply more recognized examples of it.

Take policies for example.
Democrats over a decade ago had not issue with deportations. Obama according to many estimates had far more than Trump can realistically accomplish. He even had some serious scandals, like the children in cages thing.
Today, that's no longer a position held by the party.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 I should mention this compliance is nothing new. It's an expectation in all leftist circles. Just recently, Crowder had a debate with a Harvard professor, that had held tenure since 1989. One of the discussions was discrimination at the university level. Even the professor accepted it was a reality. Harvard required signatures on DEI policies (which the Prof also accepted as prejudiced) as a form of entrance into the workplace and as a student.

Leftists operate this way these days 🤷‍♂️

[Ez-Bri-Z_v2]

Omg you must either be blind or willfully ignorant of right wing politics. You could have voted for Trump every time, get screwed over by his policies, complain about it and get labeled as a lefty socialist communist.

It works both ways. For example, you. You keep labeling me a leftist just because I am anti MAGA. I don't support your cult and somehow I am a socialist democrat, huh?

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 I'm not a right winger. Never voted Trump. Voted left wing a decent chunk 🤷‍♂️. Even Jill Stein 😂
At best, I'm centrist.

[Agape93]

I get similar labels even though I'm a lifelong libertarian.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Agape93 you don't come off as a leftist to me at all. Your anti Islam position is enough to convince me of that 🤷‍♂️

[Agape93]

Talk to ring of fire lol anyone anti trump is liberal to his dumb ass.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Agape93 possibly? 🤷‍♂️
I'm not in that camp.
I do however view leftist ideology as the biggest threat.

I largely call @Ez-Bri-Z_v2 leftist due to positions she has pushed in previous conversations. She may bring up things that make me reevaluate 🤷‍♂️

[Ez-Bri-Z_v2]

I like positions from both sides. Im obviously pro lgbt, and pro choice. I also believe in a well funded, larger military, 2A, and cleaning up corruption for social programs.

I just also think John McCain was the last sane Republican.

And I agree with Agape, there are certain users on this site who are so pro MAGA that anyone who even slightly disagrees is automatically a leftist socialist. You made the same mistake and I just gave it back to you.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

@Ez-Bri-Z_v2 perhaps? 🤷‍♂️
My apologies.
I'm quite emotional on this topic for I see it as a collapse of western society. This is why many of my questions are centered on it.

[FrodoSkywalker007]

Shh! Don't tell them!
