Boyfriend adds random girls on Facebook?

he adds random girls on FB all the time. randoms and strangers. I've asked him why many times now and he says "im just bored and I just talk to them. only chit chat no flirting or anything" or sometime he says "i add people. no reason. I'm not doing anything, may even not talk to them".

I'm confused if he doesn't want anything to do with them,why add them? he has 400+ friends so doesn't need to expand his list.

ages ago I checked his fb inbox once, and he said to them things like "hey your pic is so beautiful". not as sexual as "hey I'm imaging you naked now" nor is he arranging any meeting with them.

but I don't know how to think about this?

is this something I CAN ignore? its not just adding girls.he also tells me sometimes that he finds this girl hot or something. once I asked him does XXX (one of his friend) talks about girls like you do he said "no. don't make me feel like a bad person. if you don't like me don't be with me"

Ask him how he would feel if the shoe were on the other foot. Don't listen to these guys below. That is no way what so ever to treat a girl! If he loves you another girl shouldn't matter to him. And he should not at all tell you straight to your face that he thinks other girls are hot. And that "if you don't like me don't be with me" is a bunch of bullsh*t. My boyfriend says it all the time. Tell him you like him but you don't like him flaunting other girls in your face. Big difference. "I like you, But I don't like you talking to other girls." He's not doing anything yes, but he is talking to other girls. You don't do that in a relationship. And these idiots below me? "Oh it's okay just ignore it." F***no. That's not something to be taken lightly. You don't talk to other people and flirt and tell them how good they look when your in a relationship. It don't work like that. Unless your into that sort of thing, and by the looks of it I'd say your not. Stand your ground. I can't believe a women of your age is letting some little boy treat her this way.

From his perspective, I'm too paranoid and always relate things to "other girls",while he already tells me every day that he loves me and compliments me frequently.

from my perspective I just see him gathering all girls attention.

He thinks that since he loves you and compliments you that, that should be good enough. You can't have your cake and eat it to. He wants to be with you but he wants to talk to other girls. Flirting is more like it. He doesn't respect you. Big f***ing waste of time. Dump his ass.

You and I are two totally different people but if that were my boyfriend, this wouldn't be happening. He adds some girls he knows and whatnot. But he doesn't call them beautiful. And hardly talks to any girls on there. Most of our friends are mutual. So the girls he talks to know him and me, so there not flirting I know. And I've been on his Facebook seen the messages and know he doesn't talk to any girls. He doesn't even talk to them publicly. If he did he knows I would be super mad. We don't do things like that to one another because we both know if we did and found out the other was doing it to we'd be mad. Talk to him tell him you don't like that sh*t. Your the only girl he should be calling beautiful. And ask him how he'd feel if you talked to other guys, told them they looked sexy and whatnot.

You can tell him that it makes you uncomfortable, but not much else. His friends list is his business, after all, and like you said, it's not like he's doing anything with them. It's probably best to ignore it until you have something real to worry about.

If you trust him, which appears doubtful, then ignore it. If you don't, ask him to stop. If he won't, then you're back to trusting him or leaving him.

If you would rather freak out and provoke a blowup, that's your right. But if it leaves your relationship in ruins, just remember that you asked for it. Any lasting relationship involves choosing not to see things that annoy us; no one ever signs up for a lifetime of petty squabbles.

P.S.: You are not the last woman your man will find attractive. You need to adjust to that--immediately.

My girlfriend has 1500+ friends and adds guys on there almost daily. Should I get into an argument every time? Seems pointless to me.
