What do you talk about while slow dancing?

There's a dance coming up and whenever I dance with someone it's just awkward silence... I need a question or anything just to start a short convo :)

I think the best kind of slow dance is when the girl just kind of "falls" into my arms and rests her head on my chest/shoulder. No words necessary, its all about the body language.

If you must, anything along the lines of "what are you doing this weekend", or "how is your summer going", or talk about the song or school or whatever. Something will come to you when you need it.

You can keep it simple or you can just look at each others eyes the whole time, this sounds cheesy and difficult but there was a time when it was considered a romantic thing.

My boyfriend and I aren't the kind of people to stare lovingly into each others' eyes while slow dancing. So when we slow danced at a gala, he goofily sang the song to me. Or we laughed at the other couples around us that were either looking so in love or were looking super awkward
