Why would he keep me on Facebook if he wants nothing to do with me?

I had a guy in my life, we weren't dating, but we were very flirty and (I thought) very into each other.

One day he just disappears. Ignores all my calls, texts. But he kept me on Facebook.

And after about 3 months of silence, I unfriended him, but he's still subscribed to me.

My question is, as silly as it is, why would he keep me on Facebook if he wants nothing to do with me?

It just seems counterproductive. =P

Maybe it was to keep his friend count up.

I do not know his motives..however...females ALWAYS need to be on guard for what players call "girl on a string" This is code for a situation where some guy can call..(it is pretty sick imo)..usually 3 or 4 girls that want to land this dude and he plays them against each other.if one cuts him off then he just makes it a point to show up in public with another female or seeks to replace a girl who has left him with another...this ostensibly shows her and the rest of the world that he is not dependent on her...and she plays right into his hands by "cutting him off" thus proving that sex is the most important thing she has to offer...but DOES NOT LEAVE HIM...now this is fine is you are "using him" or "using each other" does not usually end that way though..possible red flags are when he does not want to cut off contact with an old flame(that is not the same as occasionally talking to or socializing with one), says he wants to date around, makes it clear that he is not ready for marriage..one of my friends kept a big glass jar on his night stand with all of these random girl's phone numbers in it...I have NO IDEA why she married him..although, later in life he has been a good provider (although she needed not his help) and a good father...but he is still a whore dog...sometimes I wonder how many times she has had to go the Clinic..o.O
