Seriously, look at the direction of the Scandinavian countries and Canada. It is absolutely not unlikely. All it would take is the right (or wrong depending on your POV) President coming along and that would be that.
I would be interested in knowing why you think that this would be a good or a bad thing. Is it just because you believe in equal rights, prefer the patriarchy, think that women would use their new power for some ''payback'' etc.

I would.
I've been in situations where I traded my place so other, someone I'd never met before, could be saved. Somehow I've managed to survive.

i am a writer, my writing has always been praised for standing out and being creative. But I notice that people seem to streer clear from a weak male character. I've had friends ( black friends) who hated my male characters because they were not traditionally masculine. Now typically the black man would be the tough one or the fighter, instead I'd make a black male character the short, sweet one. He isn't masculine at all, in fact he loves flowers and wants to be a doctor. He has no fighting skills and the people around him protected him from danger a few times. Most guys, hate males like this. Most people like reading about more masculine men or a basketball player. I don't see why a male character that isn't all that masculine is hated so much, but I mainly notice that black people tend to hate characters like this and prefer either violent stupid characters, or traditionally manly characters. But female characters can have a bunch of different personalities and no one cares. Why do we hate weak male characters but love and support weak and girly female characters?

Im not saying that the attention is necessarily bad or good. Im just asking who is responsible for it. I know personally I dont like it.

So lets say there's this really attractive woman, and she's walking down the street, she's wearing a nice body con or tight fitting outfit, whos fault is it that she's getting stared at?
Does it matter what she's wearing? Like if she's wearing something modest, is it less her fault, more his? If she's wearing something completely modest (like a t shirt and sweatpants), is it less her fault?
Does it depend on how much she's wearing? Does her body type matter? Does her attractiveness matter? Like if she has big boobs, should she be mindful of the fact that men will stare and dress them down?
And yes, you can still be checked out in a tshirt and joggers lol It doesn't happen as much, but it does happen.

**OMG, time for the misogyny/misandry, ok peeps. I recognize that men get oggled too. HOWEVER i feel that its mostly a woman's issue. Hence, why Im using the gender pronouns. Its kinda like if I were asking about asking people out or paying for dates, I'd use "he" more than she because although yes, women do ask men out and pay for dates, most of those woes are held by men as they are largely the ones affected by it. I'm definitely more indoorsy. This doesn't mean that i have to always be in the house, but i prefer to always be inside of some type building lol. I just can't handle the humid weather, bugs crawling around, and wind blowing my hair lmao.
I only liked going outside if i went to the playground to play tag or baseball haha. Other than that, I preferred hide n seek indoors as well as volleyball and other stuff.
