I was like this when I was much younger. But I quickly grew out of it. And I don’t feel long term fulfillment and contentment with seeing people I don’t like in pain.

This mentality is a human mental quirk. Something that an adult needs to mature out of. But I think this is getting worse in society. People want to see other people in misery just because they are miserable. The old saying is “misery loves company”.

Or does the world at the fingertips with algorithmic black holes make us dumber?

The Jan 6 idiots were 75% middle class realtors, contractors etc…. Weird.

Personally, I believe that an elected leader will convince enough people that he/she is the only one to save the US from enemies foreign and domestic, and his followers will join with the military to enforce his will. Happened in Germany for Hitler, Russia for Putin, Venezuela for Chavez, Hungary for Orban...

People say we need the Second Amendment to protect us from tyranny, but I say it'll be our neighbors, armed or not, who help tyranny succeed.

I think it should be up to the woman and they should be able to have the choice.

In terms of money those who buy our expensive jets are "precious allies" but we wouldn't sell to north korea! Only to ally so in what way and which?

I was at Panda Express. They seemed understaffed and the lady serving behind the counter was trying to assist others in the line as well. The entitled black young woman with pink hair in front of me copped an attitude and I fired back. I told the lady behind the counter to go ahead and help her because she is obviously in a hurry. The black woman became bitchy towards me and I just stood my ground. She angerly grabbed her bagged food and left.

I am thinking the day will come when one of these people will lose their temper and try to assault me and I will subdue that person quick right on the spot.

States don't do it. It's not like the governor is decided by an electoral college made up of electors from each county, so why do it nationally?
