It occured to me tonight randomly, do you think U. S. President Biden will randomly resign before November's election?

It just occurred to me randomly sitting at the desk tonight and just thinking to myself, and I'm an Aussie so American politics doesn't affect me /I don't vote in American elections duh - do you think and respectful answers only please - do you think the President will randomly resign the office so that VP Kamala Harris becomes President effectively immediately? Then again I don't know much about American politics procedures, lol, only Ford became President because Nixon resigned? Or was that Congress picking Ford? Lol so confused me ah well. A light hearted foreign politics question. I'm not an American.

President Biden would’ve already resigned to be honest, he sees it fit that he serves his full term to the end as the people who voted for him in 2020 want.

There is a big transition process to move from Biden’s Administration to the Harris Administration so, to just step down and give her the powers wouldn’t be the wisest of choices. I want to make clear that Harris has promises for day one she is in office and she won’t be able to get anything done with the Republican Majority in Congress which would definitely negatively impact her poll numbers too.

It doesn’t seem smart or strategic to do this especially since President Biden just lost his chance at a second term so, in his mind he would like to finish a few things before leaving indefinitely. It really doesn’t benefit him or VP Harris when she wins The White House this November.

Not running for the nomination which I think Kamala became the nominee back in August? Or was it July two-three months ago now, hell lady I do my best just to remember all my chores and tasks outside of work and work tasks lol 😆😆😆😁
