Do you support the right of immigrants/refugees without State ID's to purchase guns?

Springfield Ohio. Haitian immigrants are receiving guns, without having state/fed issued ID's. It's not clear what their legal status is to me. Question is, do you support 2nd amendement for such persons.

And do you think this is going to go well, end well. This woman indicates around 40 sales so far.

One wonders if they are using them to shoot geese and ducks, or have other ideas.

To be honest this video sounds fishy. Some of what she says is pretty vague, so I'm not even sure what was supposedly happening. It sounds like she doesn't understand just what was happening and why. Some things she said really don't make sense.

As to immigrants, an immigrant has an ID. That doesn't mean they show it, but they have one. An immigrant has a green card, and can legally purchase guns if all other requirements are met. And I agree with that. She seems to think that non-citizens can not buy a firearm, and that is not true.

Refugees are another matter. No, I don't think they should be allowed to buy guns unless their status changes.

I suspect she had to be careful what she was saying. Yes, it seems others don't realize they can buy as well. Apparently they can.
So that means Venezualan immigrants whom are part of gangs can legally buy guns. fun times ahead!:) Chinese immigrants whom are working for the CCP as a local militia can also buy guns. not that anyone needs to follow any laws.

An immigrant, by definition, is a permanent legal resident (green card holder). They are vetted at that stage. There are a whole bunch of crimes that will prevent someone from getting a green card. I think this even includes simple marijuana possession.

You don't have to be a citizen to buy a gun, but you at least need to be a legal immigrant. So they are vetted. I don't know how well they check an applicant's background.

As for this dealer in Ohio, I only checked one non-state source, but apparently Ohio requires an FBI background check to buy a gun. How long did this woman work there? How much did she even know about the laws? How much did she understand what she said in the videos? She mentions processing the sale, but what does that mean? If processing means moving it to the next step of doing a background check, then it's fine. The FBI will either approve it or they won't.

I find it hard to believe that a licensed dealer with a store front would be selling to people without a background check, like she implies. That dealer would lose his license very quickly, and possibly face criminal charges.

They should background check them, but in some cases, yes. I think it's stupid that you can only own a gun if you're a citizen.

At one of my dad's construction jobs there was an Ethiopian security guard. He wasn't allowed to have a gun because he wasn't a citizen. One night, some gang members tied him up (or so he claims), and set the entire lot on fire. Had he been allowed to have a gun, he might've stopped them.

I also have some international friends who've always wanted to shoot a gun. It's one of their bucketlist items. I think they should be allowed to.

have to get more details from the people in the system. We know how things work though... the customer service person runs the information into the system. The computer says "yes" or "no". The govt is enabling this...
