Night shifts can really mess people up physically and mentally. Unless it’s a hospital or some other type of vital human need, I don’t see any reason to do this to people.

Can someone really make up for their past wrongs? Say for instance a teenager that stabbed someone then ended up turning their lives and spent their future doing outrageously good things like feeding the poor. Or a person that slept with many peoples wives/husbands then changed their ways and taught people about sexually abusive behaviors and what to do to avoid that, or someone that was addicted to drugs and beat people up and stole things from strangers then inevitably became sober and joined one of those NA/Aa groups to help others change their ways?

When someone truly changes to become a Better person and doesn’t the majority of their life doing good then bad? even though their bad deeds did a lot of damage and hurt people pretty bad can they still end up being a good person in the end?

Eve Carson, 22 y/o, she was class president, top of her class and a straight A student who was loved by everyone she came across and never made anyone feel like an outsider. Her academic success was so great that she got full scholarship to both Harvard and Yale. In addition to her academic success, she was also class president and was a humanitarian, who travelled to developing countries to teach and provide aid to children. Eve's life goal was to do medicine and at the time of her death, she was studying pre-med at the University of North Carolina.

In 2008, she was targeted by two criminals, who were looking to rob her. They broke into her apartment and kidnapped her then stole money from her account (~1400 USD). Once, the daily limit was reached, they then walked her out to an intersection, in a woody area, and killed her. Before, they shot her 4 times, it was said that Eve had asked for them to pray with her, when she realized they were going to kill her. Her body was discovered the following morning.

For the next couple of days, the two killers continued to take money from her account, which eventually allowed police to track and find them. Both men were sentence to life in prison and the entire nation of North Carolina moaned for her death. Her funeral service was one of the biggest ever seen in the state at the time. Posthumously, the dean of the university that Eve attended, awarded her the title of most exception female student of her graduating class. In addition to this, a scholarship and a memorial garden were also created to honor her. Eve was so well loved that even to this day, people still know of her name on campus and remember her fondly.

Republican Congressman Complains Biden Has A Bias Against White Male Judges

Rep. Glenn Grothman (R-Wis.) has apparently found fault with President Joe Biden’s choice to appoint a diverse range of judges to the overwhelmingly white and male federal bench.
On the House floor on Thursday, Grothman said Biden had appointed just five “white guys” out of 97 judicial appointments in his first two years in office, citing an unnamed study.

“I was expecting maybe 25 or 30 were white guys because I know President Biden wasn’t heavy on appointing more white guys,” he said, adding that two of those “white guys” also happened to be gay.

“So [it’s] almost impossible for white guys [that are] not gay apparently to get appointed here,” he continued.

According to a January report by The 19th, the federal judiciary consists of about 800 active judges — 46% were white men, 23% were white women, 16% were men of color and 14% were women of color.

Moreover, an April report from Lambda Legal found that just 2.2% of judges on the federal bench are openly LGBTQ, which is just a 0.6% increase from last year. The report adds that there aren’t any openly bisexual, transgender or nonbinary judges on the federal bench.
But that hasn’t stopped Grothman from criticizing Biden’s judicial choices. In March, he called the appointments “a little bit scary” and raised the possibility that the president was “actively discriminating against white heterosexual men.”
