I already have friends like this.

I didn't even know they were neurodivergent until more recently, when they themselves discovered it.

Never affected how I treated them.

My friends are my friends.

It can be hard work. It can be worth it. Depends entirely on the persons involved and what they want out of it.

People at my end of the spectrum I would. Learning disabilities, I don't think I'd have the patience.
