It's pretty obvious Russia can't beat Nato forces if they can't even beat Ukrainians. We should take steps on the high seas to contain Russia's cargo vessels and oil tankers and prevent them from trading with China and others. I'm for starving the entire Russian chain of command out of powers. What do you think?

The claim: Russia invaded Ukraine back in 2014 through the Crimean peninsula. When peace talks came, Ukraine agreed to let Russia have Crimea (since Crimea was already majority ethnically Russian) but would shut off access to the fresh water supply from the Northern Crimean channel, effectively killing off most agriculture in the area.

This did not make Putin happy and made many attempts to get Ukraine to reopen the channel if Ukraine didn't comply, which has been pretty much ignored. About 2.2 million people live in Crimea and only have access to water for a short time every day.

Knowing this, would you say Putin has a more plausible claim to invade Ukraine or do you think its still not right for him to be invading?

Ayn Rand (this isn't about her remember) is an example of somebody who sounds like a comic book villain to me and I don't have to disparage her at all, just post her quotes.

I would sanction his ass so hard , his balls would be in his throat. Nothing in , nothing out. Any country that trades with him will be classified as terrorists. If Putin threatens to launch nukes, I say go ahead punk , make my day.

What should happen to Belarus?

This like 1940's when Germany and Russia , then Italy joined forces to attack other countries. What if China says we want in on all this?

Russia is moving nukes to Belarus to be closer to Europe , does this remind you of Cuba in 1960's?

I think it will be Russia. The Russians are amazingly tough people, who, during WW II, managed to stop the German advance in its tracks, which was no small feat. Heinz Guderian, a German general and commander of tanks, famously said,

"We have severely underestimated the Russians, the extent of the country, and the treachery of the climate. This is the revenge of reality.”

Putin has lost over 100 tanks, 10 fighters, 7 helicopters , many more other assets and 4000 men. Time is his biggest enemy because Russians at home are not happy about this war and sanctions will hurt them more than Putin.

Did you know where Ukraine was before Russia invaded? Did you specifically know that Ukraine is the largest country in Europe (not counting Russia, which is mostly in Asia)?

Personally, I would refuse because I know once the US government gets involved in a war or political affairs of other countries, they send their troops mainly to help benefit their (US govt) own self-interests rather than actually fight for "peace", "freedom", and "liberation" of those sincerely being oppressed and massacred.

Especially if he kills the Ukraine President.

Time for a trial. If he ever leaves office there will be a noose waiting for him.
