Mine is that the NFL team who wins the Superbowl shouldn't say they are "world champions" when they don't compete against any other countries

I don't think your opinion is controversial, maybe in the USA, i don't know.

I think sport pros shouldn't be paid more than any other profession. Don't pay them millions for just a year of playtime. Pay them like a doctor or lawyer, 4000~10.000 per month plus additional boni for best kicker or least foulplays. But keep paying them the money for their entire life. Retirement all inclusive, and so on. Thats still more than enough to make a living.

This may not be a worldwide problem:
But public TV channels shouldn't pay billions for the rights to broadcast sport events, like the UEFA/FIFA/ European masters/ World championship, ... They rather should invest that money in real objective investigative journalism.

Controversial? Alright. I think sports fans are annoying. Like deranged Bts fan level annoying. But they don't get shit for it like the later do.

Do note i have nothing against EVERY SINGLE sports fan. im friends with several of them, but broadly speaking, thats the type they come off as.
