I don't think he had much of a choice considering what he did considering he used Public Funds to pay a woman off. I doubt he wanted to retire. He should have done it 2 to 3 years ago considering the fact the ratings have been so bad. I watched it recently (around 15 minutes) to see how bad it was and it was awful. I didn't view much of it, but it was enough for me to happily tune it out for at least 2 more years.

He’s only retiring bc he got caught paying off mistresses. It’s sad bc I grew up on WWE but it was dying and has been dying for a while anyway.

About time he retired, he did some really great work and brought wrestling to where it is today, but the past few years his creative wasn't the greatest. Glad to see WWE is going TV 14, really miss the attitude era.
